"Andrea, what's your family planning to do over the summer?" We'd all been sitting on the couch watching TV together when mom suddenly asked Andrea.
"Ummm. Nothing as of right now. How about you?" Andread responded and asked. "We've got a trip to the mountain planned. We've rented out a mountain cabin and plan to stay there for a couple weeks."
"That sounds fun. When are you planning on leaving?" Andrea asked. "A few days after school ends for the year." Mom answered.
"Wait, hold on a second. Since when did we have this planned, it's the first I've heard of it." I interjected. As far as I had known, we didn't have any plans, much less a multiple week trip up to the mountains.
"Well it was supposed to be a surprise for you and your sister, but I might as well tell you now. I'll tell Mana when she gets home from her friend's house tomorrow." Mom said, but I got the feeling that wasn't the whole truth.
