Henry Esprit
Hello, my name is Henry Esprit. I'm just your average high school junior. I have a pretty average appearance, I enjoy hanging out with friends, and my grades are only a little above average.
At least that's what people see on the outside. In reality I belong to a clan of exorcists, working to protect people from evil spirits that seek to harm society and try to disrupt the balance of life and death. This job is an absolute secret I must hide from the world as the world doesn't know about spirits.
I have one other amazing thing about me though, and that would be my girlfriend, Andrea Leno. The most beautiful girl I have ever laid eyes on, Long black hair, shiny crystal black eyes with slight a tint of red, a beautifully sculpted body, sculpted by the gods themselves. Her looks aren't the only thing she has going for her, she's currently ranked first in our grade and is phenomenal at any sport she tries her hand at. Every boy in the school wishes they could go out with her, and somehow she chose me of all people. Even her cold demeanor only helped make her more popular, giving her the air of an icy princess, unapproachable by all. I must have used up all my-
"Henry Esprit! Pay attention!" my AP psychology yelled at me from the front of the room while I was lost in thought.
"Sorry ms. Blanchett." I responded, snapping back to reality.
That was embarrassing. I looked over at Andrea who was sitting on the other side of the room who cracked a smile at my misfortune, so cute, I might die.
Andrea Leno
My name is Andrea Leno. Top of my grade, athletic, and beautiful, if I do say so myself. At least that's what people see on the outside. Truthfully, I come from a family of Demon Slayers, working to kill the demons that cross over from the demon world and try to take over the Earth. My job is an absolute secret that I must keep hidden from this world for its own safety.
That's enough about me, the greatest thing in my life would be my boyfriend, Henry Esprit. His short messy blonde hair and crystal blue eyes with their slight hint of yellow, combined with his perfectly figured face, make me lose all thoughts when we make eye contact. His body, chiseled like a Greek god makes me nearly faint every time I catch a glance. The way he struggles during class, trying to keep his grades up is so adorable I wanna hold onto him and never let him go.
Though, his outgoing and sociable personality mixed with his good looks cause me problems sometimes, I can tell the other girls are looking at him, I've been tempted to kill them more times than I can count. Even now with the teacher yelling at him and the embarrassed face he's making, which is too adorable, is getting looks from the other girls, I'll have to deal with them later. When he finally asked me out a few days ago I nearly fainted on the spot. I was so happy, if he had asked out another girl, I probably would've killed her on the spot .
*Ding Ding Ding*
The dismissal bell rang, signaling the end of school for the day. Everyone packed up their stuff and got ready to leave, so I walked over to Henry. We're going on a date after class today. We're gonna watch a movie and eat together.
"Ready to go?" I asked, trying to hide my excitement.
"Ahh! Oh, yeah." Surprised to see me, he jumped, I snuck up to him on purpose, one of the benefits of spending my whole life learning to kill demons, I learned to able to hide my presence.
"Perfect, let's go." I excitedly grabbed his hand and we left the school building together. We walked and talked all the way to my car, where he even opened my door for me.
"I'll meet you th-" *Ring Ring Ring* his phone rang while he was speaking. He looked at the caller ID and frowned, I'm guessing it was his boss again. Whatever his job is, they always called at the worst times. Even before we started dating they would interrupt us, like now.
"One sec, I need to take this." He walked off and I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I looked down at the caller ID. Dad. Great, just great, the small chance that we had left of going on our movie date was totally gone now.
"Hello?" I responded, dejectedly.
"Andrea, you need to come home, now." my dad said, before immediately hanging up on me. To make matters even better Henry walked over with his "I have bad news" face.
"Soooo, I got a call from work, apparently there's been an emergency, again, do you th-" I cut him off mid sentence.
"Don't worry about it, my dad just called, he wants me home right now…again." This happens a lot.
"Well, call you later?" Henry tried to cheer me up but I could tell he was in a hurry.
"Definitely." I said. With that, he turned around and ran through the parking lot to find his car. I hopped in my car and started driving home, time to work.
