After the car was fully unloaded my family all went to bed, fighting demons for days on end must've been exhausting. Even when I had gotten up to go to school the next morning they were all still asleep.
The school day was pretty normal and I was tempted to see if I could hang out with Henry because my family was black, but decided against it. I figured dad would want to have a meeting about what went down with the Benner family and what happened here while they were gone.
When I made it home after school my family was finally awake. Mom was downstairs unpacking the suitcases they had taken with them and I could feel Kevin downstairs putting away equipment and going maintenance.
