There was a small empty store without a door close to the corner. This was where Ezra had chosen to release the animals and fuse them.
Releasing the chickens, they cawed and flew as they ran in every corner of the store, stunned and freaked by the sudden changes in the environment but Ezra prevented them from escaping through the door.
He wasn't going to let his hard earn money flee from him.
Ezra's heart raced as he heard the system prompt.
"Ding!"
"[Beast-Fusion System Activated.]"
"[Do you wish to fuse 50 Feathered Chickens together?]"
"[Fusion success rate: 100%]"
Ezra happily said, "Yes!"
The transformation was immediate and intense. The fifty chickens cawed and flapped frantically as an invisible force pulled them together. Their bodies seemed to merge, muscles and bones reforming into a swirling mass, each piece blending into the other like molten metal.
Slowly, the chaotic mass began to take shape, solidifying into a powerful creature. The form sharpened, wings spread wide, feathers taking on a sleek metallic sheen that hinted at strength and resilience.
"[Congratulations, you have acquired an Ironbeak Avian!]"
[Name:Ironbeak Avian]
[Power: Rank One (Level 1)]
[Rarity: Bronze] (Fuse 100 Chickens)
[Abilities: Flight, Whirlwind Blast]
[Weakness: Vulnerable to all Attacks]
[Link rate: 100%]
[Potential: F Rank]
"Hahaha!"
"I will finally be rich!"
Ezra laughed until he started coughing. It was truly a joyous moment for him who was driving his in poverty. But with the system, he would surely get rich overnight!
Ezra immediately guided the beast outside. Luckily, all creatures formed by him would hundred percent be docile and obedient.
After a while, he guided the goats to the empty store.
[Ding!]
[Beast-Fusion System Activated.]
[Do you wish to fuse 10 goats together?]
[Fusion success rate: 100%]
With a positive reply, the ten goats merged together and formed a whole Monster.
[Name: Dreadhorn Ram]
[Power: Rank One (Level 1)]
[Rarity: Bronze] (Fuse 150 Goats)
[Abilities: Charge, Mystic Endurance]
[Weakness: Vulnerable to all Attacks]
[Link rate: 100%]
[Potential: F Rank]
The fusion of the goats seemed even more powerful than the that of the chickens but Ezra knew the fusion of the chickens seemed to possess the upper hand.
Just flight alone made it even more expensive and difficult to defeat, not to mention the long-ranged attack skill it possessed. It would most likely easily sweep those of the same class and realm if they weren't careful.
Ezra immediately guided the two Monsters to a different Monster store compared to the first one he had sold the Dove to.
He sold the Ironbeak Avian for 5000 credits and the Dreadhorn Ram was priced for 3500 credits but Ezra refused to sell it.
By the time he walked out of the store, Ezra was still stunned and speechless. He came here with as little as 20 credits and walked out with a total of 8500 credits worth of wealth. Could earning money be this be easy?
Ezra sighed while shaking his head. If only his parents were rich then he would have become a billionaire in just a month.
However, Ezra respected his humble background and was content. Not everything was money. Moreover, the saying that money was the root of been evil wasn't said without proof.
Ezra immediately headed to a restaurant with the Dreadhorn Ram and paid 2000 credits to turn the Dreadhorn Ram into Evolution Meal.
Ezra walked out of the restaurant with a pained expression as his black sheep carried a massive backpack on its back.
Entering a bus, he headed back to Havard High-school with 10 minutes to spare. He immediately went to a secluded corner and linked with the Wrathram and immediately started munching on the Evolution meal.
The meat was even more delicious than what the school had given with even more juicy fat. But it seemed less potent. The Dreadhorned Ram was only a level one beast whereas the evolution meal given by the school contained a level four monster meat, hence the difference.
As Ezra finished the hearty meal, a strange tremor ran through his body, as if something deep within him had broken free. It was like a lock inside him was about to burst open, sending a powerful surge through every part of his being.
His heartbeat thundered in his chest, echoing like a drum. He could feel his veins expand slightly, carrying a bit of strength to every corner of his body. His muscles grew slightly denser, the dark-metallic fur covering him seemed to harden, and his claws thickening, and his senses seemed to sharpened to a razor's edge.
Even his body felt a bit lighter, yet somehow sturdier than before.
"Just a bit more and I would have evolved to a Level-3 monster," he whispered, clenching his fists.
A surge of energy filled his veins, and every inch of his body seemed to pulse with strength.
"Bang!"
With a grin, he stomped his foot onto the ground, creating a dent in the floor, spider-webbing outward through the floor as he leapt to the air.
Fresh breeze whipped against his face as he he easily leapt ten meters into the air!
"Thump!"
He landed without so much as a stumble, his movements fluid and controlled. Spinning in place, he swung his leg out with a fierce kick.
"Whoosh!"
The air parted violently, sending a visible ripple—a shockwave—shooting forward, pushing grass and dust in a small radius before it finally dissipated.
"So powerful!"
Ezra's gruff voice resounded like a violent boom, enacting his surprise.
Just as Ezra was getting comfortable with his strength, his heightened senses picked up a faint vibration in the air—a distant, heavy footfall heading his way. His ears perked, catching the rhythmic beat of something moving closer.
"Is Arella looking for me again?" he muttered, half-joking, ready to bolt. But he froze mid-step.
'Wait… it's not just one set of footsteps,' he realized, feeling his pulse quicken. More than one… in fact, several, each footfall resonating with a weight and power that could only belong to other Symbiotes.
