A familiar scent drifted to him, and a smirk curled on his lips as he recognized who it was. He canceled the beast link and was slightly disappointed when he felt the weakness of his trie human body.
A few heartbeats later, the figures came into view. Emerging from the edge of the building, three large Symbiotes stepped forward, each one towering, their powerful forms casting long shadows on the ground.
The first one had sharp, steel-like scales that gleamed even in the dim light. Beside it was another with spiked fur bristling along its back, and the last, a sleek creature, moved with an eerie grace, its eyes glowing faintly.
A Steel-skin Bear, a Twin-tailed Shadow Panther and a Firelit Lynx.
As the three Monsters came into view, they stopped ten meters away from Ezra.

Their eyes turning malevolent as they stated viciously at him as though they were about to chop him to pieces.
Of course Ezra knew who they were.
"Three symbiotes for a someone linked with an ordinary sheep? Now I know what shameless truly means."
symbiotes for someone linked with an ordinary sheep? Now I know what shameless really means," Ezra sneered, his voice carrying a light, mocking tone. He couldn't help but chuckle as he brushed a stain off his shirt, treating the three towering figures before him like they were nothing more than a passing breeze.
Bane, now a two-meters tall Steel-skin Bear gruffled as he made a noise that seemed like a laugh.
"Your mouth is as sharp as always. Ezra." James, in his form as a Twin-tailed Shadow Panther, stretched his legs and let out a low growl, his black fur rippling with each movement. His body, sleek and muscular, stood tall at 1.8 meters. His body was like a coiled spring, every muscle defined and ready for action. His eyes—slit yellow eyes—narrowed as they locked onto Ezra's much smaller form, calculating and cold, like a predator studying its prey.
He took a step forward, his movements smooth and fluid, but filled with deadly intent. "We've been looking for you for almost an hour, Ezra," James said, his voice deep and menacing, a growl creeping into the words. "Don't tell me you came out of that little hole you were hiding in just to join a competition."
As he spoke, James began to circle Ezra, his steps silent but purposeful, his eyes never leaving Ezra's figure. "Do you really think you have a chance?"
"Haha, I think you might be right," came the mocking voice of the third symbiote, one of Bane's lackeys. His lips curled into a sneer as he spoke, eyes glinting with disdain. "But I don't think he has the guts to consume the Evolution Meal. He's probably saving it to sell it and buy a more decent symbiote."
Ezra's expression remained calm, his eyes betraying no emotion as he stared back. "I have no idea what you're talking about."
Just as the words left his lips, the ground beneath them trembled violently.
"BANG!"
The floor shattered, revealing a deep dent on the ground as Bane punched the ground with his massive bear fist.
"There's roughly ten minutes until the competition," Bane's voice boomed, a low growl rising from deep in his chest. His eyes, a fiery red, locked onto Ezra as he rose to his hind legs, towering over everyone at a 2.5 meter height. "Do not waste my time, Ezra!"
The metallic claws attached to his back clashing against each other, producing sparks as he appeared even more aggressive and dangerous with reddish eyes, sweeping over the three symbiotes now forming a tight triangular formation around him. "I already fed my Symbiote the Evolution Meal, there's no way I can cough it up for you three."
The three monster's faces changed slightly.
"That freakin' farm animal? What a waste!" James cursed under his breath, his voice thick with anger.
He couldn't believe it. What could a plain sheep possibly evolve into after consuming an Evolution Meal? It was still just a normal sheep! He clenched his fists, his mind raging with frustration.
Even Bane's expression couldn't help but become livid. His lips curled into a cold angry snarl.
Even he with a silver grade predatorz needed more Evolution Meals to push his symbiote to the next level. But here was Ezra, wasting such a rare and powerful meal on an ordinary sheep. What kind of fool would do that? His claws dug deep into the ground, unable to contain his anger. Just as he opened his mouth to speak, his lackey suddenly spoke.
"Hehe," the lackey chuckled, stepping forward with a smug grin. "Even if you've consumed the Evolution Meal, the energy is still flowing through your symbiote's body. As long as we consume the flesh of your symbiote, it would give us the same effect."
James' eyes gleamed with sudden understanding, and a wide, predatory grin spread across his face. "That's right," he said, his voice filled with excitement.
"Consuming the body of the sheep would actually give us the same effect—if not more."
Ezra's face changed slightly. "If my Symbiote dies, I might be rendered brain dead. Do you want to face the consequences of the school if you do that?"
The air seemed to grow colder, and the symbiotes paused, their sinister grins fading for a moment. But then Bane burst out laughing, the sound cruel and mocking.
"What a joke," he sneered, stepping forward with an air of superiority. "When we get selected by one of those top universities, even the Principal won't dare say anything."
