[Ding!]
[Beast-fusion System Activated.]
[Do you wish to fuse 76 sheep together?]
[Fusion success rate: 97%]
Ezra almost thought he was hallucinating as he stared at the text that filled his vision.
Beast fusion? What does it mean? And is it a normal thing to have?
He could understand the beast link as a normal part of this world since it was a defensive method developed as a fighting chance against the invading Terranoids.
But what exactly was the beast fusion?
With a bit of hesitation, he slowly said yes and stared at the button.
Immediately, the 79 black sheep seem to have been pulled together by an invisible power. It was as though there was a magnet in the middle of the barn, attracting the 79 sheep together.
"Baaa!" "Baaaa!!" "Baaaaaaa!!!"
The 79 sheep let out panic bleating noises as their bodies joined and merged with one another.
Their flesh literally ripped open, their muscles squirming as they conjoined and combined. Veins intertwined and fusing, creating a single, monstrous lifeblood channel, binding the once-separate flock into a nightmarish, singular existence."
As though a very large pair of hands was forcefully squeezing them into each other, to form a single entity, their bones combined into each other to form denser and even more stronger and firmer bones recreating them into a single bone.
Ezra could literally see the astounding sight of muscles, veins, blood, and internal organs converging, giving rise to a singular being. It was akin to witnessing the assembly of a Frankenstein-like creature, devoid of the scars from the cojoinment.
Its frame expanded, taking on the shape of a towering, two-meter-tall humanoid beast. Four imposing horns extended from its head, while its eyes blazed with an intense crimson glow. Ebon fur sprouted from its skin, yet it couldn't conceal the rippling muscles that surged beneath its surface.
At this moment, the body of the new beast had taken shape.
At that moment, the new beast's form had fully materialized.
The two-meter-tall creature loomed on its hind-legs, featuring obsidian, razor-sharp claws extending from its hands, fiery-red eyes gleaming, and four menacing horns curving toward the back of its beastly face. In it's mouth were fangs that elongated through its small lips.
No longer a mere herd of adorable sheep, it had transformed into a formidable and intimidating monster, exuding an aura of ferocity and unbridled viciousness...

Ezra couldn't help but stagger backward, inadvertently falling on his butt at the sight of the monster before him, fully awake.
Seeing such a beast so early it was barely morning scared the living day light out of him.
He almost thought he was dreaming and he unconsciously pulled his hair.
"Damn, it isn't a dream."
His eyes twitched slightly as he focused on the text over his left pupils.
[Activate beast link?]
[Yes/No?]
"Uhn?" Ezra was slightly startled as he went over his memory of Beast Link.
The beast link is a neural interface system that allows a human to control a bioengineered creature through a direct neural connection.
The link is established through a complex piece of machinery that connects to the skull and spine and allows one to experience what the creature experiences and control its movements.
The technology enables the operator to tap into the instincts and abilities of the beast, giving them a significant advantage in combat, and creating a seamless bond between humans and monsters.
It's a piece of tech created by Max-tech and distributed and implanted to everyone at age 16.
"Uhm, yes?"
In that instant, Ezra's pupils shook as his pupils shrank. In the next second, his eyes turned pure white as though a layer of membrane was covering them.
His spine lit up and a neural interface connected with a soft, mechanical click, and the machinery embedded in his spine hummed to life, sending a tingling sensation down his body.
It's as though the entire world had fallen to a hush silence.
Suddenly, Ezra's eyes snapped shut, and everything turned dark as though he was in a dark void.
His surroundings dissolve into a whirlwind of abstract imagery, colors, and monstrous forms.
A sudden heartbeat flooded his senses.
"Thump! Thump!! Thump!!!"
The sound of the heartbeat increased and the void seem to shake with the slight pounding of the heart beat.
His perception suddenly opened up into an overwhelming surge of senses.
The pulse continued to grow even stronger and more fiercer until it seemed to feel his entire being.
It was the heart beat of the creature.
As he was feeling the pulse of the creature's heart, he felt the flex of its muscles, the shiver of its flesh, and the air against its fur.
In this merged state, Ezra's consciousness was filled with primal rage. He sensed raw, unbridled power from within him, a burning overwhelming desire for blood, pure blood.
His body and the beast's body become indistinguishable, and the boundaries between them blur.
He could taste the acrid stench between each breath, feel the ground quiver beneath his paws, and hear the guttural roar at the tip of his tongue.
The transition isn't just mental; it's visceral. The adrenaline of combat coursed through his veins as the primal, beastly fury threatened to escape his lips.
He opened his eyes and colors blur and distorted, taking on the eerie hues of the world.
Everything appeared in a heightened state as if illuminated by a malevolent, crimson glow.
Shapes morph and distort, and his field of view expanded dramatically.
It's as though he had a 360-degree panoramic perspective, able to see threats and opportunities in every direction.
His vision predatory, with an acute awareness of motion and heat. He could even detect even the faintest tremor on the floor, as well as the stale smell of the air.
Sounds all around were magnified as he could hear the crickets chipping about a hundred meters away.
He could hear the rustle of every breath around the barn and the distant echoes of his footsteps.
Smells assaulted his senses with overpowering intensity. The pungent mix of shit, water, and blood hung heavily in the air.
The world felt tangible, and her. He could sense the texture of the barn floor beneath his feet, the vibrations traveling through the creature's muscles, and the weight of its massive form.
He raised his hand up and saw it wasn't his human hand but a black, furry muscular arm with sharp claws.
His breath, releasing fog in the cold of the night.
He was the monster and the monster was him.
