Chapter 1 - His Emergence

The wind, great as it was, whirled ferociously as a cast of smoke, followed by a massive epitome of flames, rusted behind the red portal as it opened up. Lucifer Morningstar stood at the peek of the hole, casting his sight at the new terrane that beheld him. His sharp glance ran through every nook and cranny of the environment, he was finally out, after two thousand years been locked in hell.

He took in a heavy breath of fresh air, which lacked the main components he was made to inhale for millennials. The air was void of smoke, refuse and burnt debris.

Lucifer twisted his neck to the right and then to the left, he strongly protruded his shoulders and ranked his hands in a bid to muster strength and life into his body. He saw a butterfly flutter by and marvelled deeply at the sight his father had suitably arranged for him. It wasn't a mansion, his father knows very well his divergent taste. The house was formed in his favorite letter, the letter V. The shape was horizontally laid, and was painted his favorite color, black.

At the front side of the house, was rectangular opening, from which he could see the beautifully decorated interior. From where he stood, he could see that the inside colors were also his fancy, black and red. A large fireplace sat at the end of the parlor, the flames that it emitted was a reminder of his prison, his home, hell. He liked what he saw, it added to his might.

Planted inside a black and ash color wooden flooring, laid a swimming pool. The pool was rectangular shaped, it's surrounding housed a compartment filled with rocks and had menial flames oozing out of them.

The water was dark, as a result of the dark tiles that laid beneath. Two benches sat by the side of a mini bar, filled with different shades of alcohol, that placed a cold smile on Lucifer's face. The environs gave him a sense of dark and mystical, nothing like the garden of Eden, thank God. His father had planted cotton, dahlias, pansy and irises. Lucifer almost got hard marvelling at his location. Lucifer turned around and gave a stern glare at the demon who stood behind him, he gave him a sign to accelerate at his pace.

*************

" Leaving without any gratitude son? "

Echoing softly inside his chest, he heard his father's voice message him.

" I thought you were never going to let me out of that wretched hole. " Lucifer snarled, replying audibly.

" A promise is a promise, now you're out. "

Lucifer rotated his eyes, " Thank you, your holiness. "

" About the demon son__

" I want to keep her... " He turned and admired his entity, " As a second hand. "

" I'll let you keep it. "

" Ah, " Lucifer smiled, " Can I make them five? " He asked sarcastically.

" Do not make me regret my decision son. "

" to keep the demon or... "

" a word is enough for the wise. "

Lucifer scratched his forehead with his index finger, " can I leave now? do I need permission? " His voice was tamed and low pitched.

" Remember to shed a new version, recall where you once was." His father warned.

Lucifer couldn't take it anymore, he walked out of his holds, with the demon at his back and took coverage of his new home.

" Yeah, yeah, " he sang as his feet brushed past some leaves and into the wooden floor.

The demon soon took a new form, invisible to the rest of the world, except from her master. Lucifer headed to the bar and sent a bottle of vodka flying into his hands.

He gave the demon a malevolent smile which made the shadow of his sight cover his eyes.

" What do you say Agra, you miss Earth's booze? "

Agra was a black snake with little circular blue prints on her body. She was three- foot-ten, she possess a slippery broad nose and protuberant black eyes. Agra had two webbed feet, a three centimeters long tail with several spikes at the tip and equipped with claws for fingers.

" I want lemonade. " Her peaky and glassy voice shot out.

" tsk tsk, Agra, tsk tsk. "

" Lemonade, " Agra insisted and advanced closer to him.

" there is no lemonade on our menu, Agra. "

But Agra was adamant, " Lemonade, lemonade__

" Fine, I'll make you some later. Feel better now? " Lucifer asked after pouring an insane amount of alcohol into his mouth, which led him to stiffen his face a little.

" Hmm-mm, " Agra sounded satisfied.

After twenty minutes of listening repeatedly to a song he found on Spotify, titled Saturn by an artist named Luna girl, he got to his feet and recovered another drink. Lucifer was mesmerized by the song, not only was he wowed by the insane piano prowess, the theme and lyrics of the song got him hooked.

He concluded that Saturn bodied an ancient eerie feel, compounded with the female artist's ethereal soprano voice.

He fell in love with the art work, so much so that he desired see the image behind it.

Lucifer pressed replay, the song started from the top. Agra, who laid beside Lucifer's bench hissed.

" What? tired already? " Lucifer scoffed.

Agra groaned instead.

" I love the song, it's magical. "

" I've heard enough, play me Nicki Minaj. "

Lucifer smirked, " Not in my house. "

Agra got to her feet and trudged to another location and laid. Lucifer sat erect and watched Agra, he sniggered and poured yet another drink inside his mouth.

" Fine, you get to play one song, and then I get back to listening to Saturn. "

Agra nodded and returned to her initial position.

Not long, pills and potions began to display. Agra relaxed comfortablely on her spot and occasionally tuned her head to to rhythm. She noticed how deeply her master stared into space, she could tell what's on his mind.

" Thinking of a new mischief already? "

" Quiet, my father may be hearing you. " He mockingly stated.

" I'm sure he heard you curse his existence back in hell, any difference here? "

Lucifer shifted his gaze to Agra, " I'm free now, that's the difference. "

Agra twirled her tail, " What are you thinking, master? "

" What else Agra, but to rule. "Â
