As soon as they came down from the plane, David and his family were greeted by a large group of people. Reporters and journalists filled the scene, as well as armed forces.
"Who are they expecting?" Jessica asked, surprised by the over-the-top security and all.
"Let's go," Austin said as he quickly cleared the small stairs.
David took some time to understand what was going on, only to remember that he was still a sovereign-like entity, no matter what country he was visiting—even if it was for refueling or as a connecting spot for another flight.
He would be received in such a manner, so there was nothing he could do to help the situation. Quickly composing himself, he flashed a bright smile and began his descent.
