Emperor Nicholas stared at Lyra for a while before nodding his head. He believes that Lyra is very powerful, and now that she has the goddesses behind her, he has no worries.
"Ok, you all should go, Lyrien keep Princess Lyra safe," he said while looking at Lyra and then at her father.
Duke Albert clenched his fist, he couldn't believe that his daughter actually agreed to something like this, what if Lyrien was not able to protect her and something happened to her.
After the morning court was over Duke Albert returned to her chamber immediately.
"Lyra, why did you do that?" He asked furiously.
"I am sorry Father, but I just can't let my husband go alone without the protection," she responded, she is not yet used to this kind of treatment, or has been cared for by a parent. She did not remember having a father in the court earlier when she stepped in to help.
