An dreamy voice echoed through the area as if it was crossing over a million years to reach him.Shock, relief, joy and confusion were all expressed vividly on Ruberno's face as he quickly surveyed his body and realized he was healed. He seemed to have gained the body of a newborn without a scratch on him but he quickly reined in his thoughts and looked at the figure ahead of him with a look of certainty. He quickly knelt down and said with an agitated voice. "Please save the Evergreen kingdom from ruin kind sir!"
Beneath the mask, confusion was etched in Gray's face due to the many things Ruberno had said "what happen to the kingdom that it needs saving?!!!!" but he hid his doubts and asked him to explain. Ruberno didn't dare delay for one second and narrated all that had happen. He also took out the relic he had carried with him and presented it to the being in the white mask.
Taking the odly shaped disk that seemed to have a gloomy aura around it he focused on it to see it's origin. He saw it was a relic of the cult of the undeath but that wasn't the interesting part. This relic seemed to have some traces of corruption.He took it in his hand and fiddled with it as he tried to figure out what to do with this new found information. The kingdom could not be destroyed especially the dutchy but how to save the kingdom was the issue. He could not do it himself or ask anyone related to him do it as that would almost be making an enemy of the mastermind behind all this.
The next best option was to inform the kingdom but how? What identity would he take to ensure he was believed and taken seriously. The next question would be how to handle all of this. It was evident someone wanted to destroy the kingdom or more specifically cause chaos in the Sun empire and the kingdom was just a pawn in his plan. How this issue was handled could put the whole kingdom in the limelight of either the empire or the mastermind behind the scenes and he did not want attention now or chaos that followed that attention but he couldn't give in to Ruberno's request that easily.
"Why would I do that. The kingdom has no ties to me so why would I go out of my way to save something unrelated to me I n any way. I have to get something in return. I'm not that good of a person. So why would I help you or what can you give me in return for my help." Thoughts raced through Ruberno's mind as he tried to figure out what value he had .
The figure needed something from him. A person of his status had no business in the Kingdom but saving him was also not without purpose. Someone of such high status only did actions that serve a purpose.There was nothing he could think of that he had on him that had that much value that would peek his interest and so all that he could offer was myself. He could be someone who did his bidding.
"Healing me was because he saw I had the potential to serve him and such methods of healing are not the works of a rank ten maybe only the legendary saints are capable of that. Figures I've only heard myths about." This meant this figure had at the very least the protection of a saint if not higer. As this thoughts raced through his head he immediately knelt down and said with unwavering determination. " I swear to serve you and be your loyal surbodinate to do your bidding. I offer you my loyalty and servitude. I only hope you will spare the Evergreen kingdom. "
As the figure who had a white mask seemed to be deep in thought while looking at him he was riddled with anxiety as what he decided could be the deciding factor whether the kingdom lived or faced destruction. "Shadow I need you to send a letter on my behalf," a figure who had a similarly styled mask only that it was in black appeared behind him. "Yes master." Space! He had a surbodinate who seemed to have a spatial affinity. The figure Infront of him seemed to be a person with a bigger background than his initially thought.
A paper seemed to materialise in the air. An elegant writing seemed to appear on it that also carried a certain majesty in it. As Gray thought about the words and demeanor he needed to take as he hadn't gotten used to this as all his actions needed to reflect someone who had power. As he finished thinking the paper folded and a black envelope also materialised . After finishing he turned to Ruberno "Do you have anything with the spatial cordinates of the duke's mansion." Ruberno shook his head in shame but thought of something and said "I don't but any count of the Infernal dutchy should have the cordinates of the dutchy capital so you could get them from there."
"Shadow go to the counts home and see if you can get the capital of dutchy cordinates and send this to the duke ensure he reads it personally." he communicated via the mask without saying a word as he sent out the shadow out of the space. He turned back to admiring flowers as if the world's worries were none of his business but he was deep in thought . "Your to weak to join me as you are become stronger then you'd have so use to my cause." He left those words as he disappeared from sight leaving Ruberno in contemplation and soon he had on look of determination as if he had made a big decision.
