In a garden filled with the fresh scent of flowers and nature, a boy sitted on a wheelchair looking at the garden of roses and peonies appeared to be lost in thought and an occasional sigh would escape his lips. The servant a short distance from him looked at him with anxiety written all over her face.
Two weeks have passed since Gray woke up. He was in bed most of it as, true to what the doctor said he did indeed need rest. He was only able to move around since yesterday but everyone treated him like some fragile egg that would break with any slight movement. Only with a tantrum and tugging his father's heart strings using sympathy was he able to tour the mansion.
The garden and the library instantly became his two favourite places in the whole estate. The library was where he could learn more about this world and read about the fabled adventure and myths that were native to this world. The garden was just beautiful and reminded him of earth as, no matter how chaotic his life and current circumstances were the roses were still red.
Through the books he asked to be brought to him when he was still in bed he learnt quite a bit about this world. The world he now lived in was known as the Divine continent. The Divine continent was divided into various empires and the one he lived in was the Sun empire, one of the three human empires.
The Sun empire had many surbodinate kingdoms that payed tribute to the empire in return the empire provided protection from the dangers that lurked in and outside the empire. As there were human empires, non human empires existed too examples included the Elven empire, Dark Elven empire, the Drarwven empire and the oceans which was only considered an empire for it also had it's rulers.
Organizations that were independent of the empires but had strength to rival them to some degree also existed. One such example was the church. In the Sun empire the three religions that spread as a tactic understanding between the four concerned parties included; the Crimson church, the Ever night church and the temple of Light. Though they seemed to have a tactic understanding they competed in the dark and tried to suppress each other any opportunity they got.
There was also the Mercenary union that was spread across different empires and gathered the strong who had mostly had no affiliation. It's an example of a type of loose organization but it had immense power just by it's reach alone. They explored the history and ruins of the divine continent. The were many more just that at his current level he just couldn't know more about them or they operated in the dark.
Coming a little closer to home . The Evergreen kingdom had one royal family, three dutchys and countless nobles with titles and lords with territories. The three dukes direct surbodinates were the Marquiss who manages the dutchys as the dukes managed the kingdom for the royal family. The dukes also acted as the first line of defence for the kingdom, each of them a high class professional.
The Marquiss managed the Counts; who manages their various counties and the viscounts, barons and knights that resided in them. This structure was basically a template for most kingdoms in the Sun empire. The Scarlet duke, lord of the Infernal dutchy acted as a guardian against the beast riots of the Mirkwood forest.
This huge forest was home to many beasts such as various beasts lords, and suspected beast kings. Such threats were for the kingdom to handle and any higher was the Empire's responsibility. As the Mirkwood forest stretched across three empires it's threat level was not something the Evergreen kingdom could handle. They only dealt with the outer perimeter threats and the rest was not their concern and they were happy to keep it that way. Perhaps the empires had reached an understanding with the rulers of the Mirkwood forest but those were not issues he had access to at his status and level.

A mechanical voice suddenly sounded in his head and myriad of emotions flashed across his face. He motioned for the servant to push him inside of the mansion to his room. Claiming to be tired.
