3rd wall protection... Fire arrow.
Lingai dodged it.
"You've become weak, Celvar," Lingai Lain said.
"Wake up, my soldiers."
Many underground monsters awakened around Lingai.
"Attack!!"
They all ran with the speed of light towards Celvar, holding stone swords.
"Attack, Dragon Cut." Celvar waved his sword slightly.
All the monsters vanished.
Many mountains were destroyed by Celvar's attack.
"Black hole summoning."
"Wait—Lingai, what are you doing? Don't go this far. You will destroy this world," Celvar said out loud.
"All I want is to destroy you, Celvar; nothing else matters."
A little black hole appeared, slowly getting bigger and pulling everything towards it.
"Lingai, I will surrender. Just pull the black hole back."
"You know I can't do that, Celvar. Even I can't control something this powerful."
"Shit, shit, shit. There's no way. I can't save this world anymore," Celvar said with a frustrated voice.
Two legends fighting each other in an unknown world full of different kinds of creatures' souls.
In just a few minutes, a whole world was destroyed.

Location: Bosoru (Veldic Academy)
"That's not a bad punch, Ryu."
"Sorry, Von, but I have to."
"I underestimated you, Ryu."
Ryu made many punches toward Von, but he dodged them.
The teacher and students were shocked.
"So you're not a normal one after all, Von?"
"I guess so..."
Ryu again made some punches that I dodged.
I see he is bad at fighting. He's probably used to fighting with his baseball bat, but this is a strength fight, so no weapons are allowed.
"Alright, Ryu, I will have to end this." Ryu is strong, but yes, just not on my level.
I ran towards Ryu and punched him with my left hand. He dodged it, but my left punch was just for distraction; I made another punch with my right hand, which he didn't expect.
"Arghhh..." Ryu flew out of the circle and hit the metal wall.
"So, so. We have a winner. Congrats, Von. You passed your first exam," the teacher, Derosa, said.
Next two pairs. Derosa kept choosing other students to also fight each other.
He gave me a passing and Ryu a failing grade.
After that, we had the academic exam, which I failed and scored 0 points. The whole class laughed, not expecting it.
And to the end, a Magic Exam.
"Alright, students, line up next to each other." We went to another training field, but it was open, not closed with any walls. It also had weird creatures that weren't moving. They were very ugly-looking but staying still.
Derosa started explaining what we were about to do.
"Everyone, line up to one of these monsters facing it and use your magic power to destroy it."
I did as he said.
"Aya, you're the first on the list, so go on and start."
"Yes, teacher," she replied.
It's the same girl from the strength exam. She failed it completely and got easily defeated by the one called Zane. It was a girl-against-boy fight, which isn't fair. But now she has the chance to prove her power in magic if she has any.
"Aya, shoot."
"Magic, Dark Spell: Spider Summoning."
Many spiders appeared and started crawling toward the monster, eating its body.
"Now that's a special magic, Aya. It's very good; you use dark powers and also can summon monsters. You passed."
"Yay, thanks very much, teacher!"
"Next."
After a while, it was Ryu's turn. Sadly, he didn't have any magic, which made him fail.
"So before we continue, we already have one that didn't pass any exam at all. Ryu, you failed all 3 exams. You scored 37 points in the academic exam and zero in both strength and magic."
"What? But that isn't fair. I am really strong. Just give me another chance, Derosa.
I promise I will pass."
"Alright, go on and try using your magic on the monster, but this is the last chance."
Ryu again faced the monster, trying to use his magic. He clenched his fists and made nonsense spells, trying everything to get some magic.
I heard of this from Celvar. Apparently, not everyone can use magic.
"Alright, I will help him, I guess," I thought.
I had to use my blood magic. I made a very small blood drop go very fast toward Ryu's monster.
Boom.
"Whoa!"
"Nice, kid."
"Very good."
The whole class was amazed. The little blood drop I shot destroyed the monster completely, but I made it seem as if it was Ryu's magic.
"Good job, Ryu. You passed."
"Next, Von..."
As Derosa called my name, I noticed two people from the whole class looking weirdly at me. First, it was Ryu, which I didn't think of too much; he probably noticed me helping him. But there was the other one. It was Zane, who was smiling at me as if he saw the blood drop closely.
"Von, are you still there? It's your turn."
"Y-yes, Derosa."
Just as I did with Ryu's monster, I did with the one in front of me and used a blood drop.
Again, the monster was destroyed.
The students found it weird that the way I killed my monster looked exactly like Ryu's spell.
My blood magic is too fast. They can't see it, but the effect is the same.
Not too many failed this exam.
This blood magic I have is useful. I underestimated it.
After finishing all exams, I went to my room in the student residence. It was clean and not as small as I expected it. It also had a shower and a kitchen.
This city of Bosoru is too different compared with Zoda. It's like in the future. Everything is different, even the buildings.
I still have this feeling of loneliness and emptiness inside my heart. I just don't get it. I had fun for some time with Celvar. But now it's again just me, alone.
I am still thinking about whether I should get along with the class or just be alone.
The next day, I was late, but not alone. Ryu was also with me. We spoke a little while running to class, and he asked me why I helped him. I said I would do the same for anyone, and he was happy.
Derosa shouted at us for 3 minutes straight, telling us to be more punctual.
"Alright, let's start our lessons today," Derosa sighed.
"As you all know, 9 of you failed already, and now we're just 16. That is a lot worse than last year. Anyway, let's start."
99 minutes later, the lesson finished, and we went to the cafeteria to get something to eat. I bought a cup of coffee and one slice of bread. Thanks to Celvar, he gave me a card, and I can somehow pay with it. He said it has unlimited money, but that can't be true, I guess.
"Yo, Von, how are you doing?"
A voice I knew—it was Ryu.
"I'm good. How about you?"
"I'm alright. Thanks again for helping me."
"Like I told you, I would've done the same for anyone."
"Yes, you are a kind one, Von," he said and then sat in front of me at the table.
"I can join you, right, Von?"
"You sat already, so I guess, yeah."
"Haha, yep."
"What kind of magic did you use to help the monkey before?"
It's Zane, the blond-haired dude who passed all exams with full points.
"Hey, who do you mean by monkey??" Ryu asked with an angry voice.
"Shush, monkey. I am speaking with the dead eyes dude, not you."
Is he calling me dead eyes? What a disrespectful one, I thought but stayed silent.
"Von, allow me, please, to punch this idiot."
"No, Ryu, you should hold yourself and calm down."
"Listen, Zane, it doesn't matter what kind of magic I used. But what does matter is that you need to be more respectful to people."
I told him, but he didn't care and just walked away.
"Heh, what a weird guy. He destroyed my mood."
"It's okay, Ryu. Things like this happen. You just have to ignore it and concentrate on yourself."
"Alright, Von, as you say."
Ryu went back to eating his food.
This guy Zane didn't care about my magic. I feel like he knows what I used. All he wanted was to make Ryu mad and punch him to get kicked out of the school.
