"How did it go?" Earlene asked Harvey as he stepped out of the consulting room. "It was fine." But there was something strange with the way she spoke."
"What is it. She couldn't pinpoint what exactly... do you think she is trying to hide something?" Harvey asked.
"Nope. I don't think so. She looked pretty fine to me." Earlene replied wiping a cold sweat from her brow
"By the way, how is Gerald?" He asked taking out his phone. He dialed a contact and placed the phone to his ear still maintaining his questionable look.
She simply nodded and bowed her head down staring at the tiled floor. Harvey couldn't reach the person he was trying to call so he gave up.
"Wanna eat, I am totally famished." Earlene said with a grin
"Yeah, me too. where to?" He asked searching his body for his wallet. He found it and rummaged through to see if all his cards were intact. He took out a purple credit card and handed it to her.
"Can't go. I have to stay by his side. why don't you just order some food." he suggested further adding to her unusual frustration. "Why, where is Taylor. Call him." Earlene said with rising frustration.
"Yeah, tried to reach him but he won't pick his calls." He said waving his phone.
"Sometimes I wonder the kind of security my blockheaded brother employs" she muttered under her breath. "What?" Harvey asked
"Oh nothing... just clearing my throat." She said with an awkward smile. Harvey shook his head and ignored her
Valerie suddenly walked in looking tired. It was obvious she had been crying even though she did her best to clean them with the tissue she was holding.
Earlene walked up to her, and they embraced each other. "Hey, what is wrong?" she asked caressing her gently
"He said he will only donate the blood if Gerald gives him sixty million dollars."
"What? Sixty million! That is huge money Val. Did you try to change his mind?" Valerie asked. "He won't budge." Valerie said slumping into the nearest chair.
"Well, we better do what he wants." Harvey said taking out his phone again. "What! You can't possibly give that opportunist that amount of money." Earlene exclaimed. "That is the only way at this moment. We can't make his health deteriorate before we think of him as our solution" Harvey argued back.
Earlene was about to say something, but Valerie held her back. "He is right. We have to this." she said. Earlene glared at her, but it soon disappeared.
"Fine, stay and watch over him." Earlene said trying to downplay the whole show. "Harvey and I will be going out to eat. Want us to get you something?" she asked somewhat tenderly. Valerie smiled faintly and shook her head. She stood up from her seat and entered Geralds ward.
"She looks broken. Wanna stay and watch over her?" he said bluntly. "Come on Mr. man, she will be fine" she said, grabbing his hand. She quickly dragged him and together they got out of the place.
In the prison cell, Francis lay on the floor breathing heavily whiles staring at the ceiling. His white singlet was now dirty and greasy, soaked up in sweat.
He sighed as he recalled memories of he and Valerie. He slid his hand down his abdomen and unbuckled his belt. He was still wearing his designer trousers from the day before.
He unbuttoned it and unzipped the flaps which revealed something huge inside. He slowly and gently pulled it out.
The deliberate touch of his foreskin suddenly brought his rod to life, slowly. With its burgeoning hardness he began to rub it gently not forgetting to pass around the tip stroking it gently as he moaned with pleasure.
He gasped and moaned softly with each passing second. It had finally reached its point; he stroked harder and faster further increasing his moans and gasps in a muffled way. After a duration of forty-five minutes, he was off.
"Damn, that was good. he said to himself. He closed his eyes for a few minutes and sat back on the hardened mattress, all sweaty. He stared intently at the wall and laughed deviously.
Suddenly, his mind went to something. He didn't understand why Gerald allowed himself to be stabbed.
Deep down he knew it was a plot, but he couldn't figure out the motive behind it. "If that bastard thinks he is going to take Valerie away from me then he is a bloody liar." He said aloud.
"I am going to make sure he doesn't live to see another day."
"I won't be so sure about that, Monsieur." A man said from a far distance. Francis looked up; it was an odd-looking man in a police suit. Francis hinted an anomaly in his dressing. "Who are you?" he asked rising to his feet.
"Someone with questions and a way out." the man replied. "Gerald sent you, didn't he?" "What if he did. It's not like he cares about you anyway." the man replied.
"What do you want?" Francis asked. "Hmmm nothing. Just a question. Why are you hiding your identity with the girl?" the man asked with a grin.
"What are you talking about?" "Okay, let me be plain with you. You were born into a rich family. why risk it all for a girl who does not even care for you?" the man asked. "Why don't you go fuck yourself!" Francis yelled.
"Watch it dude. The last person to try to call me that ended up with a..."
"Ended up with a what? You don't scare me so quit wasting your time with me." Francis said and sat back on the mattress. He had had enough of this drama.
The man smiled and said, "Maybe when you manage to get out, then, we can discuss business. Unless you want to keep moaning like a girl." he said throwing a card to him. With a crude laughter he walked away leaving Francis alone.
Sitting down in a particular position made Valeries legs numb. Though the settee was meant to be comfortable it was still stiff and closely wedged making comfort another problem for her.
She looked around the environment trying to find something that could ease her boredom. She glanced Gerald and sighed.
"Sometimes I wish it didn't happen." she said under her breath. she immediately spotted a bottle of brandy wedged between the artificial flowers on the table. She walked over to it and saw that some of its contents had been poured already.
She glanced at Gerald who was still in his comatose state and wondered who could have been drinking at that time.
She brushed the thought off with the fact that Harvey had been here too. She poured herself a glass and reluctantly took it in considering the thought of what happened the last time under the influence of it.
She knew she wasn't a heavy drinker herself. Torn between the feeling of guilt and pain she slumped back into her seat and sobbed silently.
Gerald opened his eyes halfway, secretly watching her. His heart melted at the sight of Valerie, and he really wished he could call her.
He called out her name in a tiny whisper, but she heard it and lifted her eyes to look at him.
She soon realized what had happened and rushed over to his side. She checked him thoroughly even lifting his hands to kiss it, but he was a stiff as steel.
She called out his name many times with her sobbing voice. Unable to bear it any longer he opened his eyes and kissed her passionately.
She opened her eyes un bewilderment. She quickly pulled away and stared at him in disbelief. "You are awake, how?" she asked him, holding her head.
"Come here." he said with pleading tone. He reached his hand out to her, but she ignored and turned around. This was obviously not what she was expecting.
"Val, please... "
"No!" she yelled. "You do not get to call me that, not after everything you put me through." she added with a mixture of anger and resentment. "I am sorry, please forgive me... " he tried to say but she yelled at him even more.
"I didn't know, please... " he said lifting the sheets and rising to his feet.
"Give me one reason why I should forgive you... You have destroyed my relationship anyway. Are you happy?" she said dropping to her knees.
"Of course not. I had no idea it would get to this" he said trying to console her, but she aggressively pushed him away. After a few failed attempts she finally gave in and fell into his arms sobbing violently
"It's okay, I am here for you." he said softly, caressing her as well. He was still in his hospital gown which clearly meant he was without any under garments.
As they continued to embrace each other on the floor, his garment shifted upwards revealing his eggplant which immediately erected. She gasped at the sight of it and quickly backed off.
"Hey, hey what is it?" he asked unknowingly. He looked down and saw his erected manhood. He quickly covered it but to no avail since it was stiff and hard. She shook her head and tried to leave but he chased her and carried her in his arms.
It was awkward to him especially with the way she wriggled trying to release herself. "Let me go! you want to rape me again." she screamed but he was way too strong for her.
He pinned her down on the bed and immediately rushed to lock the door. She screamed even louder but he gestured to her to keep quiet.
"Listen, I am not going to hurt you okay, I just want to talk." he said calmly. It seemed to do the trick. She got of the bed slowly and sat on the settee.
He tried to join her on the seat, but she stopped him and pointed to his bed. "Don't you come near me." she said without even looking at him. He nodded and gingerly sat down on the bed.
"What happened the previous night, why did you rape me?" she asked with a weird frown. "I didn't, I promise. I would never do such a thing to you."
"But you did. How do you feel." she asked with a disappointed look on her face.
"Please do not look at me like that. You know it wasn't my intention to do so. I love you."
"That is, it. Your obsession with me is what is causing these things. I am only here to give you my resignation letter.
Planned on giving it to you on Monday but..." she tried to say but he interrupted her abruptly saying "I don't want it. I don't want you to go."
"Well then I guess you are going to have to live with it. You are my boss Gerald, nothing more nothing less. Don't ever think there will be chance for us because there won't be. I don't fucking love you." She said boldly with newfound energy.
She rolled her eyes at him and tried to walk away.
"Spend the night with me." he said staring at the ceiling.
"Have sex with me and I drop the charges or else I will make sure he spends the rest of his life in there, you know what I can do Val" he added in a threatening voice literally revealing his true colors.
"You will do no such thing..."
"Try me! try me and you will see what I can do with your pretty boy. Trying to play nice I suggest you do your part." he said with a devilish grin.
"You are not worth it. I will get him out with or without your help." she said softly. She unlocked the door and walked out leaving Gerald who finally burst into a tantrum. She cried even more as she walked down the hallway into the elevator.
She reminisced about her first meeting with Gerald. He was kind and caring towards her but just as her mother said, her beauty would always be her curse.
she finally descended the magnificent building and entered her car. She cried even more to the extent of hitting the steering wheel aggressively.
She finally gathered herself and drove out of the area. As she drove on the highway, she thought about Geralds offer. She drove on without even realizing she was in a huge traffic jam.
She hit the steering wheel even more attracting the attention of the other drivers in their cars. She realized her surroundings and stopped straightening her hair as well. The traffic jam lasted longer than she had expected, and she found herself dozing off.
