Fowad spent the rest of night in the hills. It's much safer there. He marked the location of the lights. In the morning he will go there to check the lights source.
At the morning come down from the hill. Now he is in the real Twilight Forest areas. From here his journey truly began.
The rolling hills behind him gave way to the towering canopy of the Twilight Forest, a labyrinth of ancient trees that reached so high they blocked out most of the sunlight. It's was nothing like the outer layer of the wild. It's far more dangerous. It's almost midday by the time he entered the inner area of the forest.
Even at midday, the forest exuded an eerie darkness, with only slivers of sunlight piercing through the dense foliage.
Fowad paused at the forest's edge, taking a moment to survey the shadows that seemed to dance just beyond his sight. His beasts stood alert beside him, their instincts already tuned to the dangers that lay ahead.
