Fowad turned slowly, his sharp eyes meeting Aric's without flinching.

"A duel?" Fowad asked, his tone calm.
Aric smirked. "You've been strutting around like you belong here, impressing the weak and fooling the ignorant.
Let's see if you're as capable as everyone says."
Fowad's jaw tightened, but he kept his composure. "I don't have anything to prove to you."
"Scared?" Aric taunted, crossing his arms. "I thought wild tamers were supposed to be fearless."
