In Zephry's world, human evolution had been rapidly shaped by his influence. Though they began with limited affinity for magic, Zephry's time acceleration for a thousand years propelled them forward, allowing them to harness fire, form hunter-gatherer societies, and eventually build the foundations of early civilizations.
In the first five centuries, humans scattered across the central continent, learning to hunt, cooperate, and protect one another. The central continent, lush with resources and balanced in climate, soon became home to the first cultivators of crops. A significant shift occurred around the fifth century, as one group of humans began to settle permanently in a fertile region, transitioning from a nomadic lifestyle to agriculture. This stable food supply attracted nearby tribes, leading to the creation of a sizable settlement of nearly 2,000 people—an unprecedented population for this world, forming the nucleus of a primitive human civilization.
Meanwhile, the dense forests to the south provided a sanctuary for a small group of elves. These elves, now grown to 50 in number, were drawn to the forest's rich vegetation, which perfectly complemented their affinity for nature. With their limited but new found magic, they could gently manipulate plant growth to sustain themselves without disrupting the ecosystem. Though they maintained a watchful distance, their observant nature kept them attuned to human activities nearby, anticipating future contact with the expanding human settlements.
To the north, a hardy community of dwarves had settled in the towering mountain ranges, rich in minerals and untapped resources. This environment suited their resilience, as they developed skills in stonework and metalworking. The dwarves, cautious and reclusive, focused on crafting their underground networks and mining for metals and gems, laying down the foundation for a structured society. Preferring isolation, they kept their distance from humans but established a thriving culture based on craftsmanship and resourcefulness.
However, on the eastern continent,at the same time around at 6th century a different scenario unfolded. Here, humans were initially drawn to a large lake, which became a hub for fishing and gathering. Over time, they encountered nomadic beastmen, fierce creatures with superior strength and hunting skills. Although tensions ran high initially, the humans soon recognized the beastmen's value in tracking and hunting prey, and they began inviting them into the lakeside tribe. But as the beastmen grew in number, their power and dominance overshadowed the humans. By the sixth century, the humans had been reduced to servitude, enslaved by the beastmen. Small groups of humans attempted to escape, and one such group fled northwest, finding refuge in a magical savanna where mana was abundant. Meanwhile, deeper into the western continent, another group of beastmen established their own tribal society , gradually growing in number.
On the western continent, another remarkable transformation was taking place. An elegant white dragoness had grown into her full strength. Born as a primal lizard in the northern regions, she possessed a modest form and limited abilities. As she traveled south, she encountered regions with increasing mana concentrations, catalyzing her transformation into a drake, a powerful form with heightened physical abilities. Her scales thickened and her strength grew, enabling her to hunt larger prey and defend her territory.
The journey continued to the mana-dense heart of the continent, where she evolved again, this time into a wyvern. This form granted her majestic, fully developed wings, allowing her to soar through the skies. With her newfound flight, she became a formidable presence, her agility and senses sharper than ever as she adapted to the ambient magic around her.
Finally, upon reaching the continent's central mana reservoir, she underwent her final transformation, evolving into a true dragon. Her sleek, bright scales now held a deep, glistening sheen, and her golden eyes took on an even more intense glow, capable of perceiving mana flows within the land. In this form, her intelligence and magical resistance soared, and she gained a subtle mastery over fire. In the heart of this continent, she encountered another dragon fluffy—one of her own kind for the first time. Though she was a dragon and fluffy was an ancient dragon fluffy wass excited to someon similar to hi he had seen wyverns and lesser drakes, but meeting a fellow dragon kindled a powerful bond. Together, they formed a pair, giving rise to a new generation of dragons that would be known as the "true dragons"—a powerful, intelligent species capable of wielding magic and creating lasting legacies.
As the thousand years of accelerated time came to an end, Zephry felt a change—a faint alert from the system that controlled his world.
"[Conditions met for system upgrade. System upgraded from System 0 to System 1.]"
Surprised, Zephry turned to his companion, Clark, . "What conditions have been met?" Zephry inquired.
Clark responded with a simple answer, "It required a world population of 50,000."
"Seems like they're growing well," Zephry mused, reflecting on the rapid growth and complexity emerging in this world.
The system's interface expanded with a new notification:
"[Different species have started praying to gods. Would you like to create deities to collect divine power?]"
Zephry raised an eyebrow, intrigued. Clark elaborated, "Currently, you have two gods with enough faith to be materialized."
"Let me see," Zephry replied, intrigued by this new development. The system displayed two established gods:
[Koji – God of Wealth and Good Harvest, worshipped by the humans of the central continent.
[Vara - god of strength and hunting worshipped by beast men and humans of the eastern continent]
Clark continued, "You can create an additional god if you wish, one that followers will naturally gravitate toward."
"Interesting," Zephry murmured. "So, I can manifest these gods and give them divine power to perform miracles for their followers?"
"Yes, master," Clark replied. "Miracles strengthen faith, helping gods collect divine power and gain influence."
The interface shifted, revealing three options:
[Type 1 God (10 DP) – Lacks free will; can only perform miracles as directed.
Type 2 God (50 DP) – Limited free will; capable of offering revelations, identifying loyal followers, and granting minor wishes.
Type 3 God (100 DP) – Fully conscious, capable of independent thought and decision-making.]
Zephry weighed the choices, considering how each god type might impact the burgeoning world below. His fingers hovered over the selection options, but he paused, sensing a deeper question forming.
"Clark," he said slowly, "how will these gods interact with each other?"
Clark, in confident voice . "Master, that... depends. Type 3 gods, with full consciousness, may act on their own, even influencing each other's followers."
" Let's go for it then I can always beat them up if they did something I don't like"
