Quickly, Penelope turned away from the sight with a small yelp.
At first, Dorian wondered why she did that but when he looked at himself,he realized he wasn't wearing anything but a thin under linen around his waist.
He hadn't even thought it through when he shifted, the only thought which had clouded his mind at that time was of his mate being in possible danger with him not around, after what happened at the restaurant,he didn't think he'd be taking slight chances.
Quickly, he scrambled the wardrobe behind him,his hand raving through carelessly and luckily,he found something useful.
"You can look now"
He said but when she turned around, she turned away again.
What was wrong still?
"Cover everything" she said hiding her face.
Everything?
She wasn't comfortable looking at his chest?
Untiring the blanket,he wrapped it around his body Making it look like a garment.
He looked ridiculous.
"You can look"
Slowly,she turned around and sighed.
"I'm sorry,I didn't realize I wasn't well covered"
Not like he minded her seeing all of him.
Penelope's hand reached for her head as it ached, she just saw a wolf turn to a man. The room spined around her but before she could fall,he caught her.
"Are you alright?"
Heck No!
She nodded.
"H_hows that even possible?"
She said talking more to herself than to him as she tried to understand what she just witnessed but the knock on her door pulled her attention.
"Penny"
Josh called, the sound of a ribbling nob followed, luckily, she had locked her door tonight,if not how would she have explained Dorian in her room. Half naked
"Hide" she said panicked
"Penny"
"coming"
walking to the door, she opened it slowly, peeking only her head out but Josh in terms pushed the door open coming in and when his eyes fell on what was behind her,he frowned.
Penelope could feel her heart racing as she cracked her brain ready with an explanation but would he believe her
"Josh,I can explain,I..."
"Why's your room so messy?"
He asked interrupting her and when Penelope looked behind, she saw a black wolf standing on top a fallen plain bed sheet, her clothes littered on the floor, thanks to him when he scrambled through her wardrobe.
"I heard you scream, are you alright?"
"Ah_yes, yes I-I'm fine"
He frowned.
"You wanted to explain something?"
Oh.
"Uh,no no,it's nothing"
Giving a nod,his eyes scanned around for a moment.
"Goodnight"
He said leaving and Immediately, Penelope was quick to lock her door once more.
"He couldn't see you!"
She whispered-screamed in awe but the wolf just tilted it's head at her as though it wanted to say something which she didn't understand but then she heard snaps and when it began to loose it's fur,she quickly turned around so as not to witness the sight again, she wouldn't want her eyes dis-virgined twice.
"He can't see me". Dorian's voice made her turn around and thankfully,he was covered.
"H_how's that possible?"
Her question made Dorian's expression change slightly,as though he was looking for a simple way to explain it all to her.
"Well you see, when we shift to our wolf,it is similar to like going into another realm, the realm of supernaturals which clashes with the human realm, only, there is a slight gap between the two realms which keep humans from being able to see through thereby not being able to see us"
He explained but Penelope's frown grew deeper.
"B-but I can see you"
"That is because you are my mate"
This time, her frown became a curious one.
"What is that?"
"It is as to how humans would refer to another as_ a soul mate of some sought, only in our realm,it is more stronger and taken with absolute seriousness". He explained patiently taking her in every step of his explanation.
He was happy she Finally knew of all this and to think she didn't freak out like any human would,he was blessed.
"So I'm your__your.."
He nodded and she didn't need to complete her words.
Her eyes looked like she was thinking, putting two and twos together.
"So_"she paused. "was that why you were so insisted on pursuing me?"
This time,he didn't reply but his silence was already an answer, she certainly would need moments more in order to dilute so much information in one night.
.

.
.
"Are you staying here?"
She asked panicked when he didn't make any attempts to leave.
"I could shift to my wolf if you feel uncomfortable"
His reply just confirmed it,he wasn't planning to leave.
Dorian remembered how he had noticed the man at the restaurant getting up at same time Penelope had walked through the hall to go clean up,the way he looked at her was what made Dorian alert and he followed suit. He didn't want to think of what might have happened if he hadn't followed.
He wouldn't take any more chances.
Her silence answered his asked question and without further notice,he shifted and soon,a black Wolf stood before her.
It approached her and when it got close, too close, she took a step back. The wolf stopped and it's head peeked up at her.
Penelope hadn't meant to step back but when the wolf got close, her feet acted out of instinct, who could blame her, afterall, this creature looked deadly in size.
Thankfully, the wolf didn't come any closer giving her the time she needed to musk herself together and after a while of just standing and looking at the wolf, she made the first move and approached.
It's fur carressed lightly through her fingers as she made contact.
At first,it was just a small touch but then at the feel of how fluffy its fur was,she brushed her hand deeper. It was so soft and smooth, she stroked it back and forth and noticed how it's tail wiggled slightly increasing pace with every caress.
She Chuckled lightly, imagining how she had envisioned something as cute as this a killing machine.
It was like a dog, only thrice in size,it was so adorable and soon, she had both her hand raving through its fur and could tell from it's body language,it approved positively.

.
When she woke up at the soft kiss of the morning sun against her skin, she noticed the wolf was gone, her window was closed making her wonder if he closed it.
Hopping out of bed,she took a quick bath and once she was done, she went into their living room but frowned when she heard voices.
.
"Would you like to work at my company?"
At first, Josh was certain he heard the wrong words leave the lip of this man sitted before him so
"Pardon?"
He just had to ask again
"You do not want to?"
Dorian asked in reply but the boy replied with an unbelieving tone.
"Wh_i_why it would be an honor"
He replied leaning forward from his seat looking stunned.
Working in the D.S industry.
A place he would have sworn a month ago if someone were to tell him he could step his feet into,he would deny it with his life but here he was, sitting opposite to Dorian skendore who was asking him personally to work at his company.
Was he dreaming.
Peter was just as amazed as his son at the young man's offer,he almost saw stars.
"Perfect, I'll have my P.A sight a look at your credentials so you can be fixed in any line of your expertise"
He said and from the boys expression,he could tell he was having a hard time processing the information.
If he had a hard time just settling down a job offer, how then would he take in the information his sister already knew of,he would certainly die of a heart attack.
Thinking of his sister, Dorian's mind wondered back to last night,he hadn't even taken a shut eye, just watched her in her sleep, she was the most beautiful sight he would ever be blessed to gaze upon.
He would be lying if he said his wolf didn't think of obcsure things it could do to her,non of which she would like he was certain. She had just grown a little comfortable with him,he didn't mind waiting a little longer,he had waited this long didn't he?.
Her scent clouded his senses so he looked up and the sight of her made his day.
"Thank you so much Mr skendore, I'll.."
Josh stopped talking when he realized this man's attention was now zero towards him. Both father and son followed his line of sight which settled on Penelope who stood by the entrance.
"Good morning Dad"
Her voice sounded less as confident as she would sound when with just her dad and brother, rather it sounded nervous and it didn't need much analysing to know who caused it.
