Felix felt like his head would split into two at the rage at which Dorian mind linked.
Luckily,he was standing close to the bed so he didn't have to drop the girl on the floor,if so,he was certain his death would be inevitable,not like he was sure of living after being caught in the action he was feighning to do to her.
He felt his head throb in great pain which ran down to his thighs,then down to his legs making it impossible for him to stand on his two feet and he fell to his knees,all the while holding his head like if he let go,it would splatter.
"Dorian"
Even at the sweet voice of his mate, Dorian's eyes never peered away from the gamma who could no longer carry the weight of his body on his two feet.
Getting up from the bed, Penelope rushed to where Dorian was.
"He said he'd throw me out the window" she reported
At once,Felix shot his head up and was certain he could see his end when his eyes came in contact with Dorians.
"N_no no,i_i was just kidding"
He threw his hands, waving them frantically in front of him
"It was a joke,i promise,I would never even dare to think of such. P_penelope,we were joking weren't we?"
He turned to her,his eyes already begging her to temper Justice with Mercy and help him out.

Turning to his mate, Dorian scanned her with perusal.
"Are you alright?"
He asked finally after looking at her,her hair was slightly disheveled,but apart from that,she looked alright but he still wanted to confirm and only when she nodded did he calm down,but then his eyes briefed a glance at Felix.
"He said he'd throw you out the window?"
He asked still looking at Felix who began shaking his head vigorously in denial.
Taking few steps forward,he moved towards the window, looking out from it,he accessed the distance before looking back to Felix.
"Jump"
Penelope's jaw almost dropped at Dorian's words,was he serious,she wondered but didn't have time to think it through cause Felix obediently began abiding,his facial expression looked slightly relieved as though jumping out the window was a better option.
Once he was standing at the hidge, Penelope panicked,he was just kidding,she herself knew he wasn't going to throw her out.
"Dorian.."
"Wait"
He beat her to her words making Felix Immediately halt.
Dorian moved closer,his gaze fixed on the man who was about commiting suicide by jumping out the window.
Felix was confused at first,was Alpha going to pardon him?,he hoped so cause he didn't wish to jump down.
Felix watched him stand there without saying a word for a while but then in the next second, he saw Dorian's hand move at a quick speed which before he could predict his move,felt himself being pushed forcefully and thus caused him to loose his footing.
A small yelp was heard from Penelope who quickly rushed to the window immediately she watched Dorian push Felix. When she got to the window,she expected to see a man but instead saw a blonde wolf,same wolf she had seen earlier today, it's body was laying weirdly at first,but then it got up slowly, limping away,she was certain,a bone or two was broken.
"Dorian.."
She turned around to ask why he would do so but rather,felt his arm come around her as he pulled her into a hug.
"Sorry I took longer than I said I would my love"
He spoke while burying his face by the crook of her neck.
"I missed you,so.much"
Pulling away,his hand moved to her face, pushing few strands of her disheveled hair
"Why'd you push him?"
She asked and he tilted his head slightly to the side as though asking if it wasn't obvious.
"He'll be fine"
He answered knowing what she was worried about.
That gamma needed to understand what kinds of jokes were funny and the kinds that weren't.
"Did you eat lunch ?"
He asked and she nodded slowly
"Dinner?"
She nodded once more and he smiled,the messy strands Still by the side of her face Making his fingers itch until he brushed them behind her ear.
" I'll go have mine then"
Although he would have loved to have dinner with her,he was glad she had eaten.

Left alone in the room, Penelope soon busied herself with something doing, going into the second room which contained of the closet,she skimmed through the clothes which she hadn't gotten the chance to see all of yet,she realised there were so many clothes in here,much more than she would have ever dreamt to own and to think,each brand and make looked extremely of high standards and design, she was so engrossed in her doings that she failed to realise the door had opened and only when Dorian stood close to her did she realized the man standing beside her,half naked with nothing but a towel tied loosely around his waist,his hair wet and from the stream of water drops cascading down his perfectly toned chest,she knew he had just gotten out of the bathroom, how long had she been in this room,she wondered, although when she realized she was doing nothing but stare at him,she quickly averted her eyes.
"Uhm,I should leave"
She said and quickly ran off in attempt to leave when she felt his strong arm pull her back and instantly,a minty fresh lemon scent wafted her nostrils.
"Penelope"
The way her name rolled from his tongue as he breathed out made her almost shiver,not from fear,but something else.
He towered her, making Penelope take a step backwards but at once,her back came in contact with the white wardrobe behind her,now he was standing right before her,his chest bared at her sight.
"Do you not like my body?"
He asked and she could feel her heart leap a beat at his boldness.
What kind of question was that,was he unaware of the kind of body he possessed,she was almost a hundred percent certain girls/women would gork at the sight of him
"You look away every time"
He said,his expression innocently confused.
Shifters were usually used to seeing the other bared to sight but the fact his mate always looked away immediately whenever he was bared and not even completely bared, made him wonder if his body irritated her or was it a human thing.
Penelope felt like her heart would jump out of its cage at the proximity at which Dorian stayed to her,the minty lemon scent filled her senses and she would be lying if she said she didn't like the scent,it was the intense closeness she was worried about.
What was he doing?
"D_d_dorian"
She wanted to use her hand to stop him from getting any closer but once her hand came in contact with his skin,she was quick to retract her hand and this gained a small frown from Dorian who was still wondering why she was avoiding looking at any part of him.
"Do I irritate you?"
He asked genuinely concerned at her behavior,mate's were to feel an immerse pull at close proximity,so he's been told, but rather,his own was trying her best not to even come in contact.
"N_no,y_you just_youre_youre just really close"
She spoke,her breath turning ragged cause now he was giving her no breathing space,her heart beat was beyond racing,it was at shooting speed.
Dorian seemed to have understood what she said when he noticed the small drops of water which coated her sleeves from his wet hair.
"Oh,sorry"
He pulled back and could see her breath out relieved and without waiting,she walked,no,ran out.

Even after several minutes of trying to calm her racing chest, Penelope could still feel her heart racing in it's cage,she used her hand to cover her mouth but then that minty scent brushed through her nostrils,his fresh shower scent still lingered on her.
'calm down Penelope'
She tried to assure herself but it went out through the window once Dorian came out of the closet room,dressed in a black robe,from the small part at the upper side of the robe,she could see he wasn't wearing a shirt,his hair was slightly damp and little curly strands fell across his face, covering his thick brows.
He had a warm smile on his face as he approached.
"W_what are you doing?"
Penelope asked watching him mount the bed with her
"Going to sleep"
He replied simply.
Wait,was he planning to spend another night in here?
Well,it was his house,his room,he could sleep wherever he wanted,so instead,she got up.
"Where are you going?"
He was the one to ask the question now.
"To sleep"
She said imitating his tone as she walked to the other room, making sure to lock the door.
After that small incident which he displayed, sharing a bed with him was the last on her list,she wouldn't be able to fall asleep.
If this was how just two days here felt,she wasn't sure if she could survive any more days here,her heart would surely explode.

By the middle of the night,while Penelope slept comfortably on the soft layer of sheets and pillows,she could feel something else,which was twice as soft as the pillows her head was laid on, moving her hand sleepily,she brushed her fingers against the soft surface of the bed,or was it a pillow,it felt so soft and smooth and warm,she snuggled closer to whatever brought this warmth.
Her fingers raved through feeling it's softness but then halted at the sound of a soft purr.
Not wanting to believe her ears alone,she slowly opened her eyes and almost let out a yelp at the sight of a big black wolf laying on the bed with her,it's fur brushing deeply against her finger.
What was he doing here.
"D_dorian?"
She called and saw the wolf's eyes open grudgingly,it's glassy eyes carrying a faint splat of blue which she often saw in Dorian's eyes.
"Are you kidding me?"
She said sitting herself properly but instead of getting up,the wolf snuggled closer to her, it's eyes lazily blinking as though sleepy.
"Dorian you can't stay here"
She said but rather,the wolf gave no response,it just stayed with it's eyes shut.
"Dorian"
She called but it gave no response still
She attempted getting off the bed but then the wolf gave a reaction,it began letting out a sound Which sounded like a whine,it's nose trudged at her arm as though telling her not to leave and as though falling for it's charm, Penelope found herself melting for the adorableness of this cute wolf,how could she refuse it now.
Giving a sigh,she retired back and laid beside it,her hand couldn't help the tempt of going into it's soft fur, brushing slightly but continuously in rythm until she fell right back to sleep.
