Chapter 9 - Attack On Orphanage

As soon as Vani wiped the memory of the scene from the minds of all the students in the class, Ranveer immediately asked her, "Vani, how can I quickly learn to use telekinesis? Tell me, because with Aryan Saxena constantly after me, I feel I must increase my power at any cost. But as far as I know, advancing in cultivation isn't that easy. So, I want to know how I can achieve telekinesis power."

When Vani heard this, she chuckled and said, "Is that all? That's quite simple. I'll give you the technique for telekinesis, and you can start practicing it." With that, she transferred the telekinesis technique to Ranveer's mind.

After giving him the technique, Vani added, "Make up an excuse and head to the place where you first met my master."

Ranveer, surprised, replied, "But wasn't that dimension destroyed?"

Vani responded, "Yes, it was destroyed. But while I was restoring my old memories and merging them with knowledge from higher civilizations, I came across a technique that allows me to restore dimensions. Not only that, I can manipulate the flow of time there. I can now slow time so that one hour there equals a full day. We should go there immediately. Inform your school management that you're leaving."

Ranveer did exactly as Vani instructed. After informing the school, they both headed to the dimension. Upon arriving, Ranveer began practicing telekinesis. At first, he failed miserably, unable to move even small objects. His concentration faltered with each attempt.

Seeing his continuous failure, Vani decided to assist him. With her help, Ranveer gradually improved, and after two days, he was finally able to use telekinesis at a basic level. For the next three days, he continued refining his abilities, focusing on controlling small objects with precision. Once he was confident that he could control minor objects, he decided it was time to leave the dimension.

It was 5 PM when Ranveer began heading back to the orphanage. But as he neared it, something unexpected came into view—something that made his blood boil.

A group of men, Aryan Saxena's thugs, were harassing the children. The orphanage, once a place of peace and safety, was now under siege by those who wanted to break its spirit. Anger surged through Ranveer.

His training had come just in time. It was now or never.

Ranveer stood at the entrance of the orphanage, a place that once echoed with the laughter of children but now radiated only misery. His fists clenched as he scanned the crumbling building, its walls marred by neglect, and worse—the presence of Aryan Saxena's men. A few of them stood guard outside, laughing and sharing stories, as though they had no care in the world. The sight made Ranveer's blood boil.

He could sense the fear inside, the children huddling together, hoping to go unnoticed. It reminded him of his own childhood, helpless and alone—until his master had found him. And now, that same feeling of helplessness returned. Not for himself, but for the innocent lives that Aryan had corrupted. These men had crossed a line, and Ranveer would not let it go unpunished.

"Vani," Ranveer whispered internally, summoning the AI within his mind.

"Yes, Ranveer?" Vani's calm, steady voice echoed within his thoughts.

"I'm going to confront them. But I need to do this right. What's the best approach?" Ranveer asked, already stepping closer to the building, each step measured, each breath controlled.

Vani processed his question in an instant. "These men are thugs, but they are well-equipped. Charging in blindly will expose you. Use your mental abilities—telekinesis and telepathy—to isolate them. Pick them off one by one. Remember, you are stronger now. Trust in that strength."

Ranveer gave a small nod. Ever since his encounter with the divine water, his body felt different—stronger, more in tune with the world around him. His mind, once chaotic with doubt, now pulsed with clarity and purpose.

He extended his senses, feeling the presence of each man like a flicker of light in the darkness. There were five outside, and he could sense more inside, but those outside would have to be dealt with first. Quietly.

With a single thought, Ranveer focused on the first guard—a large man who seemed to be the leader. Before the man could even react, he felt a sudden pressure wrap around his throat. His eyes bulged in surprise as an invisible force lifted him off the ground. He struggled, grasping at his neck, but there was nothing to fight. Ranveer watched, his eyes cold and steady, as the man collapsed silently to the ground, unconscious.

The second guard turned just in time to see his companion fall. "Hey!" he shouted, raising his gun. But before he could pull the trigger, his weapon flew from his hands, and his body was slammed into the brick wall by an unseen force. He crumpled to the ground, groaning in pain.

The others barely had time to react. One by one, they fell—some yanked off their feet, others knocked out cold by a telekinetic force. In less than a minute, the outside was clear. Ranveer walked through the front doors, his mind still sharp, his body tense, ready for the next wave.

Inside, the situation was worse. He could hear the frightened whispers of the children, their fear palpable. But amidst that fear, there was also defiance—a girl's voice, firm and unwavering.

"You won't scare us anymore!" she shouted, and Ranveer recognized her immediately—Meera, one of the older kids at the orphanage. She had always been brave, always standing up for the others.

Ranveer's heart swelled with pride, but he knew he had to act quickly. Aryan Saxena's men were inside, three of them cornering Meera and a group of children in the main hall. Their sneers were etched with cruelty as they closed in, but Ranveer had seen enough.

With a flick of his wrist, the nearest thug was lifted into the air and hurled across the room. The other two spun around, their faces filled with shock as they saw Ranveer standing in the doorway, his eyes glowing faintly with energy.

"Who the hell are you?" one of them demanded, pulling out a knife.

Ranveer didn't answer. Instead, he raised his hand, and the knife flew from the man's grip, clattering to the floor. In the same motion, the thug was thrown backwards, his body slamming into a table, breaking it in half.

The final man, shaking with fear, tried to make a run for it, but Ranveer was faster. A surge of telekinetic energy sent him crashing into the wall, where he slumped down, unconscious like the rest.

Silence filled the orphanage, broken only by the soft whimpers of the children. Ranveer took a deep breath, his mind returning to the present. He walked over to Meera, kneeling in front of her.

"Are you okay?" he asked softly.

Meera stared at him for a moment, then nodded. "I knew you'd come back, Ranveer," she whispered, her voice trembling. "I told them you would."

Ranveer smiled faintly, placing a hand on her shoulder. "No one's going to hurt you anymore. I promise."

But even as he said those words, Ranveer knew that this was just the beginning. Aryan Saxena was still out there, and the man would not stop until he had control of everything—including the orphanage. Ranveer couldn't let that happen. Not again.

As he stood, he felt Vani's presence in his mind once more. "You've grown stronger, Ranveer. But there's still much more to learn. Aryan is a dangerous man, and he won't rest until he's brought you down."

"I know," Ranveer replied, his jaw tightening. "But this time, I'm ready."

Outside, the sun was setting, casting long shadows over the orphanage. The darkness seemed to whisper of challenges yet to come, but Ranveer welcomed it. He would face the shadows head-on.

And he would win.
