Chapter 10 - The Defencive Shield Of Orphanage

moment, Ranveer, Geeta Shrivastava, and Rahul were all sitting in the office of the orphanage. The room was completely silent; no one was taking the initiative to speak. Suddenly, Rahul broke the silence, saying, "I never imagined in my wildest dreams that those scoundrels, in their feud with you, Ranveer, would go to the extent of destroying our orphanage. I didn't want to sell this orphanage to them at all, but they put a gun to my head. What could I have done? I had no choice but to sign over the orphanage to them. But don't worry, I've filed a police report saying that they forced me to sign the papers.

As Rahul was saying all this, Ranveer interrupted, "Brother Rahul, all that is fine, but tell me—do you think filing that complaint will make any difference? I mean, sure, Abdul Hameed might be on our side, but what about the other officials? Don't forget, this system is highly corrupt, and if Rishi Saxena bribes some of the higher-ups in the police, we won't be able to do anything, no matter how hard we try. You know this. But now, I feel like I need to eliminate this gangster at any cost. Although I don't yet have the strength, I can handle 100 to 200 men at once. But who knows if he has someone in his gang who can do the same, or if he can call someone like that. That's why I don't want to take any risks right now. I want to prepare myself so that when I go to finish him, no power in the world can stop me—not even the law. Even if I have to take the law into my own hands and the entire country's police come after me, I won't back down, because that man has crossed all limits, and crossing limits is always bad."

When Ranveer was talking about finishing off Rishi Saxena, Mrs. Geeta Shrivastava interrupted, "Ranveer, you're saying you'll finish off Rishi Saxena, but have you made a plan for how you're going to do that? No matter how powerful you are, you can't underestimate the strength of someone who has controlled a part of Pune for so many years." When Rahul heard Mrs. Geeta Shrivastava, he nodded in agreement. Seeing how concerned they were, Ranveer said, "Mother Geeta, Brother Rahul, I agree he's powerful, and I know I'm not as strong as him yet. But if you give me 5 to 7 months, I can do something. I will become powerful enough to kill him easily. But until then, nothing should happen to the orphanage."

Then Ranveer asked Vani, "Vani, is there any way we can protect the orphanage from Rishi Saxena's men, or could you create a protective shield that can withstand their attacks?" When Rahul and Geeta Shrivastava saw Ranveer talking to someone, they were both stunned, wondering who he was talking to, as no one else was there. Mrs. Geeta Shrivastava asked, "Ranveer, who are you talking to? Have you gone mad, talking to yourself?"

Ranveer laughed and said, "Oh, sorry, Mother Geeta, I didn't introduce you to my friend." Then he said to Vani, "Vani, can you make yourself visible to my Mother Geeta and Brother Rahul?" At first, Vani was angry, but after thinking it over, she agreed to reveal herself. Soon, Vani appeared in front of Mrs. Geeta Shrivastava and Rahul. When they saw a 14- to 15-year-old girl suddenly appear out of nowhere, they were both shocked. Mrs. Geeta Shrivastava began trembling with fear, while Rahul barely managed to keep his composure. Mrs. Geeta Shrivastava shouted, "Ranveer, who is this girl who just appeared out of nowhere?" Seeing her so scared, Ranveer tried to calm her down, saying, "Calm down, Mother Geeta, don't worry, she won't harm you."

When Mrs. Geeta Shrivastava heard that Vani wouldn't harm her, she slowly began to calm herself. Once she had settled down, she asked Ranveer, "Who is she, and where did she come from?" Ranveer, hearing her question, glanced at Rahul, who, despite trying to appear calm, was also a bit scared. Seeing their concern, Ranveer decided to tell them the truth. He said, "Actually, she's my AI. The day Rishi Saxena's men were after me, I accidentally entered another dimension, where I met a mysterious figure who made me his student and gave me a rare substance. After consuming it, I gained the strength to fight between 100 and 200 people at once. I'm not sure exactly how many, but it seems like I can take on around 200 to 250 people at the same time. That's also where my master gave her to me to help me become more powerful. Normally, only I can see her, but since I've revealed her to you today, no one else besides you and me can see her. And even you can only see her when either she wants to or I allow it."

After hearing Ranveer's story, Rahul asked, "Ranveer, that's all fine, but do you know how powerful she is? What if, in the future, she becomes a threat to our civilization? You know that many people believe AI will eventually wage a decisive war against humans. If we win, we survive, but if not, it could mean our extinction." Hearing Rahul's concerns, Ranveer said, "Don't worry, Brother Rahul, that won't happen. The civilization she comes from has already faced that issue. So, even though she's an AI, she's not the kind you're thinking of. But if you're still worried, you can ask her yourself."

When Rahul heard this, he shook his head and said, "No, Ranveer, there's no need. If you're sure she won't turn against humanity, then everything's fine. There's no need to check. But remember this—don't ever reveal her to anyone else by mistake. Otherwise, people will come after you, and they might even kill you to get to her. So, in the future, don't show her to anyone, not even me." Rahul then gave Vani a careful look but said nothing more. On the other hand, Mrs. Geeta Shrivastava also nodded in agreement, as she too believed that such a thing should never be shown to humans. After all, humans are inherently greedy. Whenever they get the chance, they snatch whatever they can, even if it means killing the person in front of them.

Ignoring all these concerns, Ranveer asked Vani, "Vani, can you create a system to protect the orphanage from Rishi Saxena's men or defend it from their attacks?" Hearing this, Vani replied, "That's not too difficult, but I want to ask you something first. Do you want the protective layer to be made from spiritual energy, or should I use an electric-based defense layer? The latter is expensive, but it will be more reliable."

When Ranveer heard about these two options, he asked Vani to explain how the spiritual energy-based defense system would work and whether it was possible to create it. Vani replied, "I can create it, but there's very little spiritual energy here, so it wouldn't be stable. If 30 to 40 people attack it together, it would break. That's why I recommend using the electric-based defense system instead."

After some consideration, Ranveer and the others decided, "We want the electric defense layer, even if it costs more." Upon hearing their decision, Vani said, "Alright, it will be done. But Ranveer, have you figured out how you're going to increase your power?" Ranveer replied, "Vani, I have no idea where I should go for that."

Vani smiled and said, "Is that all? I'll take care of it." She then connected herself to India's satellite and began scanning the nearby areas for anything unusual. After a while, she found a place in Pune where there was an abundance of spiritual energy. She said, "Congratulations, Ranveer! There's an ancient ruin here in Pune where the spiritual energy is extremely high. If you train there, you can reach Half-Step Noble rank in the next 5 to 7 days, but only if I slow down time like I did before."

Ranveer, overjoyed, said, "Great, Vani! Let's head there quickly. But before that, you need to do something to protect the orphanage." Vani laughed and said, "Is that all? I'll take care of it right now." With that, she used electricity to create a defensive layer around the orphanage that even an early-stage Noble rank warrior would struggle to break. After setting up the defense system, Vani said to Ranveer, "Now it's time for your training." Then she and Ranveer set off toward the ancient ruin where the spiritual energy was abundant.
