"Ivy playfully exclaimed, 'You nearly frightened me to death!'
But as soon as the words left her mouth, she felt she had been impolite to her senior. Hastily, she apologized, 'I didn't mean to blame you, Kate. I was just startled and couldn't control my tongue.'
'There's no need to be so cautious,' Kate replied. 'I won't bite.'
Ivy stuck out her tongue. 'Of course I know you wouldn't eat me, Kate. Otherwise, sharing a bed every night, there wouldn't be anything left of me by now—not even bones!'
Kate's lips twitched slightly, but she remained silent.
Eagerly, Ivy began to share the latest program news she'd just seen. 'I noticed that in yesterday's episode, you topped the votes by a landslide, Kate. Although the voting isn't over yet, I doubt anyone will surpass you.'
'Do you recall the reward for winning the vote?' Kate asked.
'Isn't it that they'll reveal the contents of the room...' Ivy's voice trailed off.
