Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Ten years. A whole century of relentless training, battles, and growth. When I had first arrived here I looked to be maybe around 12 and now I was maybe in my 20's. The growth of a god was strange, I spent ten years training with no reult to my body at all and now I wake up and everything has changed.

I stood taller and had a more muscular lean build, if I were to give a better image. I would have to say that I had the same physique as Buddha from Record of Ragnarok. My hair was also quite long now, falling to my waist.

System Notification: Congratulations! You have been training steady for 10 years.

A small smile crept onto my face as the notification continued.

You have successfully mastered all available powers and skills in your current state. Due to this milestone, you have been granted a reward.]

Reward: 100,000 Divinity Points

"With that, I have reached more than enough to buy the rest of those locked features." I opened the system features once again as I looked at the remaining abilities that were locked. Through the years I had been earning points for so many things and saving them, but with the large amount of points I just earned I will have 100,010 Points remaining after.

Would you like to proceed and purchace the remaining locked features?

"Yes."

I felt the power surge through me. It was pure, overwhelming, filling every part of my being like a river fed by the storm. It felt like lightning coursing through my veins—a familiar, exhilarating burn that made me feel invincible. A soft chime echoed in my mind, followed by a notification that materialized before me, glowing in golden letters.

All features are now unlocked, you have 100,010 Points remaining.

I smirked. "Finally," I muttered under my breath. For too long, I'd been operating at a fraction of my potential, limited by the system's gradual unlocking process. Now, the gloves were off.

[New Features Unlocked]:

God-Eater: Grants the ability to consume and merge with other gods.

Divine Order: Grants the ability to bestow laws onto yourself and the world around you.

System Shop: Access items, artifacts, and abilities from across the multiverse.

Save/Load: Manipulate time by saving your progress and reloading to critical moments.

Domain Expansion: Grants the ability to bring out the inner world.

The Almighty: Grant yourself temporary omniscience and omnipotence.

Restoration: Revive or restore anything to its prime state.

With a flick of my hand, I brought up the interface for the System Shop. Rows upon rows of glowing icons floated before me. Weapons, armor, abilites, domains, even people from other worlds were for sale.... so I guess that meant I could get so

While scrolling and seeing what the shop had to offer, I discovered a section that was labled: Multiversal Zeus's. Curiosity piqued, I selected it. The interface shifted, displaying different Zeus's from books, movies, tv shows, games, and even anime. A selection of their weapons, powers, clothes, etc where all available to purchace.

I scrolled through them as I started looking through the outfits that were available. It wasn't long before I found the one that I was looking for.

[Blood of Zeus, Zeus Outfit: 2,000 points.]

The preview showed a regal white and blue chiton, elegantly draped and bordered with intricate golden designs. Golden bracers and sandals complemented the ensemble, and my gaze lingered on the golden hair beads that adorned the figure of the show's version of Zeus in the preview.

I hit purchase without hesitation.

[System Notification: Blood of Zeus Outfit Purchased. Equipping Now…]

A warm light enveloped me, and I felt the shift immediately. The coarse texture of my simple white chiton was replaced by the smooth, luxurious fabric of the new attire. The golden bracers fit snugly around my wrists, and the sandals seemed to mold perfectly to my feet. I ran a hand through my hair, feeling the weight of the golden beads now adorning it.

I turned to the reflective pool nearby, studying my new look. For the past few years I had been wearing a simple tunic and leather sandals, and there was no comparison with how much better I now looked.

"Now this," I said, grinning at my reflection, "is the look that befits the future king of Olympus."

Just as the words left my mouth, I heard a commotion nearby. It sounded like animals fighting. Curiosity got the better of me, and I followed the noise. As I approached, I found a young white lion cub and a young harpy eagle locked in a fierce struggle over a dead rabbit. The two snarled and screeched, neither willing to yield.

I leaned against a tree, watching the scene play out. The cub swiped with its tiny claws, while the eagle flapped its wings aggressively, its talons flashing in the sunlight. They were evenly matched, and the fight seemed destined to drag on until, with a sudden dive, an older eagle swooped in and snatched the rabbit away. The cub and young eagle froze, momentarily stunned, before turning their attention back to each other, clearly still hungry.

Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through my skull, and my vision blurred. Images flooded my mind: a young man that looked like me but so much more different. The original Zeus. So this was like some canon event, Zeus had become infactuated by the power of that eagle and had claimed it as his divine animal and making it his immortal pet.

When my vision cleared, the eagle had started to gain some distance. I grinned as I raised my hand in the form of a finger gun. "Great to finally meet you, Aëtos. And goodbye."

Flicking my finger up, a lightning bolt blasted from my finger and in a blink of an eye deep fried Aëtos right out of the sky. This started the two young predators as they scrambled to run away in fright though they did not get far.

With a swift motion, I snatched both by the scruffs of their necks. "You two are coming with me," I said. The cub growled, and the eagle flapped its wings wildly, but I held them firm. "Relax, you two are about to join my dinner."

They didn't seem convinced. Their struggles grew more frantic, but a crackle of lightning around my form silenced their protests. In an instant, I transported us to the cave on Mount Ida, where Adrastea, Amaltheia, and Gaea were preparing dinner. Well the first two where as Gaea sat in one of the chairs and sipped her Echinacea tea, introducing Grandmother to the beverage was a mistake. Dear me am I glad that I hadn't introduced her to cofee.

The three women looked up as we appeared. Adrastea's eyes widened at the sight of the two creatures. "Zeus, what are you doing with them?"

"They're joining us for dinner," I said, setting the cub and eagle down gently.

Amaltheia placed her hands on her hips. "If you think I'm cooking them, you're out of your mind.... actually I could try and roast the bird."

I chuckled. "Actually, can you prepare some meat for our young friends."

The cub and eagle looked at me with a mix of confusion and fear. Amaltheia sighed but complied, setting two plates on the floor and filling them with raw meat. It didn't take long before the two creatures rushed forward, devouring the food with gusto.

As the tension eased, Gaea glanced at me. "Do you plan to keep them?"

I sat down beside her, a smirk playing on my lips. "Yeah, I am actually thinking about it. I kinda want to train them and see the mighty beasts they grow up to be."

She sipped her tea, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "I like your new outfit," she said, changing the subject. "Way better than those rags, my daughters had you wear."

I grinned. "Thanks. I thought it was time for a Zeus original. Besides, I think that it suits the future King of the Cosmos."

She chuckled softly but said nothing more. I watched the lion cub and the harpy eagle finish their meal, I felt a sense of satisfaction.
