Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

Kiros and Ikaros hadgrown so much in the past month, reaching adulthood way faster than the rest of their species. Kiros, the white lion cub had grown to be about 5'6 and had a mane as white as my hair. I adorned his mane with golden beads and ordements, and got him this golden Usekh and golden rings to adorn his tail. Amaltheia took to braiding his main when it got longer, Kiros was a calm and gentle guy. Though seemed to be in some sort of rivalry with Ikaros.

Ikaros, my black harpy eagle with his piercing golden eyes that connected to my divine eyes, was no less awe-inspiring. Of course I also spend alot of Points to gift Ikaros golden rings and beads in his feather. Yeah I had a problem with spoiling them, I was in a world that still had no currency and here I was spendind the points I gained to make my cat and bird look pretty.

The month after bringing the two to the cave, I had started training them and seeing just what they could become. Kiros, named after the white lion in Mufasa, was just as dangerous and had no problem hunting down anything that I ordered him to. Ikaros though was trained to be my eyes, by infusing my divinity into him. I bonded my divine eye to his so I would be able to see whatever he saw if I wished it so. Gaea actually taught me how to bind myself to them and claim them as my Sacred Animal, it was hard and took alot out of me, but it was so worth it.

It was six months in that I decided that maybe it was about time that I maybe say something about being ready. I walked into the cave and found Adrastea sitting there with Amaltheia, who was in her ram form. Adrastea took one look at me.

"She gone to the top of the mountain," she said.

I thanked her and booked it out the cave and shot up into the sky as I flew to the top of Mount Ida where I spotted Gaea sitting overlooking the land. She didn't even turn around when I landed behind her as she greeted me.

"Zeus," she greeted, her voice carrying some warmth. "What brings you here?"

"I've come to speak with you, Grandmother. I'm ready to free my siblings."

Her gaze turned to me, as she seemed to be judging me. "Are you now?" she asked, folding her hands before her. "Tell me, Zeus, what makes you think you're ready? Kronos is not someone to be underestimated. My son is quite cunning and smart, so you better have a good plan to get close enough that he never realizes that you two share the same inchor."

I met her gaze. "I understand, and I know that I am well prepared. In the past ten years you have seen how hard I had trained, I have mastered alot of abilities in that time and came quite some ways from the young god I once was before."

Gaea's eyes softened, a flicker of approval crossing her face. "And so you wish that I talk to my daughter?"

"Yes, Mother needs to know that I plan to save my siblings quite soon," I explained. "All she has to do is get me inside the castle, once in I'll handle the rest."

Gaea regarded me for a long moment, the wind tugging at her robes and hair. Finally, she nodded. "Very well. If you truly believe in your plan, I will reach out to her."

I inclined my head, gratitude and determination coursing through me. "Thank you, Grandmother. I won't let you down."

I had taken to meditating during storms; the pure chaos of the weather brought me a strange sense of comfort. As I focused, thoughts of my plan filled my mind. I envisioned the moment I would unleash Divine Order to utterly destroy Kronos, ending his tyrannical reign. And then, I would claim my place as king, with Rhea as my concubine. The thought amused me, as I doubt the last thing would actually happen.

Hera. Now, there was a problem. In the original myths, she becames, Zeus's wife, but the stories painted her as quite temperamental and jealous. Then again what wife would be happy when her husband goes around breeding any beauty they see. Still, she was said to be breathtakingly beautiful. If only she'd adjust that attitude of hers, I might reconsider her as a possibility.

I wonder if I could use Divine Order to change her, make her more accepting if I decided to have a harem of beautiful queens. I would have to test it's limit, cause with its ability, I would be able to become the most powerful god in all the cosmos, why would I stop at Greece? I could take over other Pantheons as well and create a single kingdom with me as it's king.

Hell, I could take on wives from every pantheon. Hell, Hinduism had several gods with multiple wives, Lord Krishna had 16,108 wives, including eight principal queens known as the Ashtabharya. I don't know how that guy did it or survived dealing with all those girls.

It was a week later, during one of my storm meditations that I finally got some good news. The wind howled around me, carrying the scent of rain and the faint hum of thunder. Lightning flickered across the horizon, each strike sending sparks of electricity dancing across my body.

My meditation was interrupted by a faint shift in the air, a familiar presence that brought me to attention. I opened my eyes to see Gaea approaching, her steps silent against the rocky terrain.

"Zeus," she began, "your mother has agreed to meet you. She'll be here in two days."

This was it—the moment I'd been waiting for. I stood, the winds swirling around me as I steadied myself, the thrill of anticipation coursing through my veins. "Then I better prepare to set my plan into motion," I said
