Chapter 17 - CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

Alex sighed deeply and dropped the tablet in his arms... his eyes travelling to the small apartment building they were parked in front of... He sighed deeply again before coming out of the car... He didn't know why but he got an eerie feeling from the house since the first time he saw it... He wondered how she could have lived in such a place for so long... Alex started to slowly walk towards the building when suddenly he heard someone yell out at the top of their voice, and it was coming from Lynn's part of the apartment... He immediately walked towards her apartment but stopped right in his tracks when he got there and saw a scene unfolding right in front of him... A deep frown immediately settled on his face, and his eyes became as cold as ice... "Let go of me. I can explain everything!" Lynn said to the older woman who was holding her arm forcefully and wasn't relenting, and Alex felt his blood immediately start to boil...
