It's crazy...
What kind of game is this? Everything is going too wild; the difficulty exceeds the expectations I had.
But I never thought that this game would become one of my most beloved in life.
Urban Legends, an open-world game with a rather unique concept. Unlike most open-world games that use a fantasy world setting, this game actually uses a modern world setting that closely resembles our own.
Using a fresh modern fantasy concept, this game has truly captivated millions of users.
With a vast world, though it uses an insanely large internal storage space, it provides players with immense freedom. Forget about boring games; this one truly offers a new sensation when playing it.
Opening the community website on my computer, I read countless new comments on my latest post.
(Maomao12: Woohoo-!! It looks like our boss has conquered the toughest challenge that even the number 1 player couldn't defeat!!)
(Citybang: Hehehe, that was the best UL livestream I've ever watched!!)
(LauraKing: Let me be your disciple!!)
(Specter23: Isn't this exactly what a top player should do? Come on, you're all exaggerating too much!)
"Hohoho... Yes, yes, it seems you're all exaggerating me as the top player in this game…" I feel my nose grow longer as I type that into the comments on my post.
Of course, as someone who has spent nearly 8 years in this game, I have reached a rank that everyone else can only dream of.
Chuckling at that, I suddenly became interested in one of the comments that appeared right below my post.
(TheFirst: Do you really think that way…?)
Reading the comment from the number one player with that tacky name, I just scoffed lightly and responded to his teasing.
(Cardless: Ohhh, of course. As the only person who conquered that challenge, isn't that enough proof?)
I teased him a bit to bruise his ego slightly, but his response was a bit out of my expectations.
(TheFirst: Umm... I understand. It seems it's your time to shine.)
What? He replied like that?
This wasn't like him at all; he would usually answer with another joke. But I shrugged it off, thinking that perhaps he was finally acknowledging his defeat.
Not only did he think that way, but the other netizens also responded with similar thoughts and started teasing him in one way or another.
Noticing it was already late at night, around 9:49 PM, I sighed a bit, realizing that I had been livestreaming since 8 in the morning. I'd spent way too much time gaming.
To ensure my aging health, I decided to call it a night. Checking my account to make sure everything was settled, I couldn't help but grin when I saw my subscriber count.
5.09 million subscribers...
That's an insane number that I've gathered over the past few years since my name first made it onto the UL leaderboard.
Shutting down my computer, I walked to my bed and collapsed there as if I were dead.
"Ahhhh... Everything is just too crazy…"

"Ermm..."
As I tried to wake up from my sleep, I felt an unusual sense of comfort all over my body.
"Why does it feel so soft…?"
It was something beyond my imagination. When I tried to rise from the bed, I felt an intense, excruciating pain in my head.
"A-Arghhhhhh—!!!!!"
I screamed as loudly as I could, feeling as if my head was going to explode, as if struck by a giant hammer on all sides.
The scream was so loud that a group of people dressed like servants suddenly rushed into the room—a room I didn't even recognize.
These servants immediately held my hands, laid me back down, and then did something that left me shocked.
In the hands of a few of the servants dressed slightly differently, there was a yellow glow that gradually eased the pain in my head.
W-What is this…? Are they using magic?
Before I could even think, my consciousness began to fade again.

Several days passed, and once I had somewhat recovered from the headache, I finally realized what had happened.
From what I gathered, I seem to have reincarnated (?) into a young man named Seo Hyeon-woo, a second-generation heir of the Seo Group, the largest conglomerate in Korea and even in the world. This group serves as a financial pillar for the nation, holding a significant portion of businesses related to modern technology and the production and processing of dungeon resources globally.
Even so, this group and family are utterly hidden and untouched by anyone in this world. If I compare it to a company in my previous world, it's like Blackrock or Vanguard, controlling everything from behind the scenes.
Seo Hyeon-woo had a terrible character. He was a foolish man who liked to get drunk, bully others, and act arrogantly.
Unfortunately, it was rumored that he was accidentally beaten by a passerby in the street while he was drunk in a bar, resulting in severe bleeding and a two-month coma before finally recovering under strict guard. His family was furious, searching for the culprit, but they found nothing.
Thankfully, I now have this body's memories...
Ahhh… Let's forget about that for now. I discovered that I've somehow been thrown into the world of Urban Legends, the game I used to play.
This is a bit surprising. If I had to be thrown into this world, why me? Why not someone else?
Thinking too deeply about all this seems pointless. After all, I'm already here and have confirmed that this is reality, at least while I've been in this room.
Realizing and trying to accept this situation, I put on the clothes prepared by the servants and walked down to the dining room on the lower floor.
Once there, I encountered a middle-aged man with a slightly long, pointed mustache and jet-black eyes and hair typical of a Korean.
This was the head of the family and current owner of Seo Group, my father now, Seo Do-hyun. He was known in Urban Legends as the world's greatest Emperor Magician, a master of manipulating reality and dimensional illusions.
Why someone like him would become my father now… I had no idea.
Sitting beside him, I felt an immense pressure even though he wasn't doing anything to me.
Seeing him glance in my direction, I greeted him as a basic gesture of respect.
"Good morning, Father."
Unexpectedly, the man seemed slightly surprised when I greeted him like that.
Why? Did I do something wrong?
Shaking his head, Do-hyun simply chuckled and then said, "It seems that after you got beaten up, your manners have slightly returned. Should I hit you on the head every day so you don't turn back into a spoiled brat who only knows how to throw tantrums and waste my money~?"
Hearing my father's teasing, I scratched my head awkwardly.
"W-Well… I've learned my lesson. Feeling pain every day like hell, I've reflected on my life in that room, regretting it…"
"Ohho, you regret being a troublemaker—?"
"I regret that I couldn't hit him back."
I cut him off, causing him to spit out his morning coffee.
"Pffttt—what did you say, kid?"
Do-hyun seemed somewhat intrigued by what his son had said.
Shaking my head lightly, I tried to brush off his question casually.
"It's nothing. I'm just a bit annoyed I couldn't do anything when I got beaten up…"
"If that's the case, you should become stronger so you can hit him back. Look at those scrawny arms of yours; they look like they'd snap if a cat kicked them, and you hardly train either."
Lifting my hand slightly to examine it, I sighed and replied weakly, "Well, you're right, Father. It seems I'll start taking training seriously from now on."
Seeing me say that, my father's mood seemed to improve a bit, whatever that meant—well, it was good.
Just before breakfast ended, my father reminded me that next month I'd have to enter Mighters Academy, one of the top 3 Hunter academies in the world, located right here in Korea.
Nodding with full attention, I returned to my room and began to think about what steps I should take to increase my strength.
Thinking about it for a moment, I recalled an unconventional method I remembered from playing Urban Legends.
"Maybe I could give it a try…?"
