(Micheal's pov)
It's been a whole week. My business trip is taking way longer than expected.
Just then I got a picture of her update.
Just the thought of her seeing calmed me. But it was short.
What the hell is she doing at such a place? It's a downtown club road for sure.
Then I got my answers from her head security Jacob. She's really going to drive me crazy.
It was a good decision to assign securities for her.
Haah, I miss her.

Finally , it's 4 O,clock in the morning. I could have taken a later morning flight. But I just couldn't stay anymore after all my work finished.
I need to see her today after i meet mom. Her health is not well for few days. I have to hurry up.
I always wake up at five in the morning. Good thing I got a shut eye in the flight. Now I will just freshen up and go to the school after meeting mom.
"Welcome young master. How are you? You look so tired and thin. Are you not taking care of yourself?" , Mrs. Thomas said with concern and adoration in her eyes.
Mrs. Thomas is the head manager of our household and also our most trusted butler Mr. Thomas's wife.
She is a mother figure to me. She had always taken care of us siblings like a mother when mom was a teacher. And now she is also taking care of mom like a sister would. She's a family.
"Well, that's because I couldn't have your food for so long. I miss your cooking. " I said with adoration.
"Then why don't you go see your mom. She misses you. Catch up with her. And I'll cook your favourite curry rice." Mrs. Thomas said as she hurried to the kitchen.
I went up the stairs walking around the fountain in the middle of the hall.
Yes, a freaking fountain in The middle. That's my mom's idea. She always loved fountains. And dad had it made for her on their first anniversary as a surprise and apology.
Dad forgot their anniversary and mom got so mad that she left home and went to her own place for few days.
Well, who could blame her? She was moody since she was pregnant with me.
So, to bring her back he had to tempt mom with a fountain. Which is why we have lots of fountains around our garden as well.
"Mom" I called her softy as I sat beside her. Her room is faces the east in front of the garden. This is the brightest room in our home.
But she's still sleeping in this bright light. She must be really exhausted. This is really taking a toll on her.
"Mike, baby" Mom said lovingly as she opened her eyes gently and touched my cheek.
Her hand is really cold. My heart breaks for her.
"I'm here mom."
"Why are you so thin. You are not taking care of yourself. Is it getting too hard for you at the office? I shouldn't have agreed to let your father stay home with me. " she said with concern and guilt in her eyes.
" I'm perfectly fine mom. "
"Let's go take a walk around the garden. I really missed my son."
I helped mom to the garden with her weak body. She loves to take stroll around whenever she feels good.
We both spent some time with each other when Mrs. Thomas called us in.
After spending a bit more time with mom I started my car to go to the school to have a final talk with her(Lilith)
But before I could press on the accelerator I got a call from Jacob and for some reason I didn't feel good about it.
And I really hoped I was wrong about this feeling. Truly!
