Chapter 21 - The unique idea

It was settled that I was going to help Shruti to salvage her artwork on one condition.

Yesterday in the art room -

Tell me the condition? Teacher asked.

I need your help without asking any questions. I was nervous about the answer my teacher was about to give me. I drink some water again to calm down my nervousness.

You need my help? Without asking any questions? She said and thought about it only for 2 seconds and asked me to tell me in detail what is going to happen that you need my help with serious expression.

Situation is in my control up until now, so you don't have to worry about anything, I promise that no one is going to suffer from that. It's for everyone's good. I said

Listen Rahul, you are a student and I'm a teacher. It's my responsibility to protect my student and help them to become a good person in life that's my responsibility; you don't have to bare the entire burden by yourself. Just tell me what's going on and might be able to help you. She said with considering voice giving me hope. If I was a normal student who had problems I might have tell everything to her but guess what I'm not.

Thank you teacher, if you were my teacher when I was child I'm not the person I'm right now. I will take care of it. I said with a light smile on my face.

Rahul... I'm sorry for not being able to help you she said with concerned face.

I'm sorry teacher I'm really sorry being someone like this I said looking down because I'm ashamed of myself. My teacher touches my chin and pulled upwards saying

You didn't do anything wrong so make sure to straight your head she said.

How's my acting, can I try for audition in films? I asked with smug look on my face.

Yeah you were teacher said patting on my head.

Present day -

I was in art room preparing for salvation. I wore my apron and arm sleeves. Take out my painting kit and brushes and keep them on table across the dash board and waiting for Rahul senior to join me. The teacher already told the security that some students are coming for helping her in work. We get in together in college and she handed me the keys of art room and goes towards the staffroom. Yesterday teacher text I about Rahul senior want to help me salvage my work. First I think it was impossible but thinking on it for some time I choose to take help from him because doing nothing is always better than doing something. The Rahul senior came walking in the room. He came directly towards me and removed his glasses and keeps it in his bag. Looking at art work he signed.

What was the theme and how you want to paint it tell me he said taking a seat beside me. I can't sign all the deep details so I just simply write a text message to him.

Theme: "A Peaceful Sunset"

I imagine a beautiful sunset on a calm beach. The sky is painted with warm colors like orange, pink, and purple. The sun is setting slowly, casting a golden glow over the waves. The beach is empty, with only a few seagulls flying overhead.

How I Paint -

I started with painting the sky with warm colors like orange, pink, and purple. Use soft brushstrokes to create a smooth, gradient effect. And add the sun to the painting by using a small brush to paint a yellow or orange circle and Make sure the sun is placed low in the sky, with the edges slightly distorted to create a sense of depth then Paint the waves using shades of blue and green. Use wavy brushstrokes to create a sense of movement and texture. Add some seagulls to the painting by using a small brush to paint a few white or gray birds flying overhead. Finally, add some details to the beach, such as a few rocks or shells. Use a small brush to paint these details.

Shruti send me a text message about her art work theme and how she wants to paint. I read the full message and again looked at art work.

It's impossible for salvage the whole painting. I get up and go outside in college garden to think about it. I seat on lawn and close my eyes taking a deep breath in and out I stay there for 15 min and go back to art room again. Shruti was looked confused.

Why don't we try changing the theme for your art work with the colors spread on it we can choose a theme like magical or imaginary things I text her message.

She thinks for second and asked me in sign language

The books you gave me, what kind of library it was.

It was old fashioned but with magic vibe in it. The smell of old books and everything there was fascinating. But why are you asking me about that now? I sign.

I started to text him the idea I get from the magic theme. I remember the starry night when I was thinking about Rahul senior and imagine a library he visited for me. I get a good idea about a new theme.

Theme: A Magical Library under the Stars.

Imagine a beautiful library hidden under a starry night sky. The library is filled with towering bookshelves that stretch all the way up to the stars. The books are glowing with a soft, magical light, and the air is filled with the scent of stardust like the senior mentioned magical vibe.

And I was thinking Start painting by the night sky with shades of blue and purple. Using a big brush to create soft, sweeping strokes that capture the movement of the stars then add the bookshelves to the painting by using a medium-sized brush to paint tall, rectangular shapes that stretch up to the stars. And Make sure the bookshelves are slightly curved to create a sense of depth and then Paint the books on the shelves using shades of gold, silver, and copper. Use a small brush to create intricate details on the book covers. Add some magical details to the painting, such as sparkling stars, glowing candles, or a few fireflies flying around the bookshelves. Use a small brush to paint these details and send.

Rahul read it for a while and sign

We don't have that much of time left

Yeah he is right. The theme was complicated from previous one and we don't have time at all. I looked down biting my lips, because I have a unique idea but I can't provide with it.

Rahul taps on my hands and signs.

Let's move with my art style then the one I created for myself.
