Chapter 30 - Tears of Joy

The writer looked at Charlotte in compassionate eyes. 

She was on the verge of tears, unable to believe that the character she had imagined for years had finally come to life.

"I might not have the authority to choose the actor," Nina said confidently, "but all I can say is … I think you would be perfect for my Lena."

Tatiana, the vice director, nodded in agreement. "I don't have much to say because your performance has exceeded my expectations, Mrs. Dawson."

Charlotte, still immersed in the character's emotions, tried her best to wipe away the tears from her eyes, but a bright smile had already formed on her lips.

"Thank you," said Charlotte politely.

Their compliments boosted her confidence and silenced the doubts that had been filling her head for the past few days.
