Five years later.
"Mommy, can you tell Rhea to stop touching my laptop?" Rigel whined with a cute pout that was more than enough to make me obey.
Unable to resist, I rubbed his head gently. "She's just trying to see what her brother is up to."
Like me, Rigel had taken interest in programming and developing which was not surprising considering Declan and I.
However, his talent was insane and I was certain that he was going to need less than a decade to shock the entire world.
For now, he was just my baby.
Rigel rolled his baby blue eyes playfully and then went back to typing on his computer.
Rhea glanced at him and her mouth formed a downward pout before she rushed into my arms.
"Momma…" her words were always few and the doctors had told us some years back that Rhea fell on the autism spectrum.
Although she would talk and do most of the things she wanted, she was not as chatty as Rigel was.
I wrapped my arms around her and brought her closer before lifting her to my lap.
"Let's leave Rigel alone, okay, you can play with momma."
Her green eyes that were sharply identical to mine blinked twice like as though she was trying to process my words.
After about ten seconds, she pointed at Rigel's computer.
"Wrong setting."
I glanced at Rigel that was already bent over his laptop and then reached for it.
"Let mommy check something," unlike earlier, he passed his computer to me without complaints.
After one full sweep of the screen, I realized that he had the wrong language setting for the current language model he was using.
With a few clicks, I changed it and gave it back to Rigel before turning to look at Rhea with surprise.
The both of them did most of things together and I had thought them machine languages and programming together. However, Rigel had shown interest and even went ahead to making me teach him more while Rhea had seemed to not like it.
But for her to have known that he was using the wrong language, I was certain that she knew more than I guessed.
Before I could say anything, one of the air hostesses walked up to me.
"We would be landing soon, can I strap the kids back in?"
If I hadn't been this close to Rhea, I would have missed the slight crinkle in her brows, "strap him in, I would keep holding her."
Since it was my family plane, the air hostess did as I instructed and left.
As soon as we landed, one of the nanny held Riley while the other one followed behind Rhea carefully.
"There was no other car choice?" I eyed Stefan as he stepped out of some newly released luxury car.
"To pick my treasures with a car beneath them? Mom and dad would probably kill me." Stefan pushed back.
My brows raised at the information, "they are going to the main house?"
Stefan nodded and I glanced at Rhea, a little worried.
"Can you with them there till I'm done with my meeting?"
Stefan shrugged and then nodded before getting into the car with them.
I watched them leave and sighed before walking out of the VIP terminal while I called Zara.
I was launching my technology firm here in Sacremento today and although this was the first day, the ground breaking artificial intelligence my team and I developed had rocked the world everywhere.
As soon as I spotted Zara, I sighed in relief.
"Welcome boss," she said with a bright smile that had me chuckling.
"Is everything ready?"
"Yes, all our potential partners are already waiting and the press are making their way there too," she informed me and I nodded with satisfaction.
I knew the people I planned to work with. Airtificial intelligence was ground breaking but it also meant that I couldn't allow just any company to get a hold of it.
So I had every plan to select them carefully.
"SparkNode sent another email this morning requesting to meet with you for a last convincing."
My brows knitted tightly.
That bastard.
"Turn them down one more time. We won't be working with SparkNode."
I could see Zara's mouth open like she had something to say then she must have thought about it and kept quiet.
SparkNode was fast growing. In the last five years when I was not in the country, they had risen to the top three tech companies in the country. More importantly, they now had global recognition.
I wasn't exactly surprised. Declan had always been impressive, it's why I had made sure that I worked my ass off to get this level of success with FuturaLab while staying incognito.
"Also, most of the press reporters are going to want to know your identity…" Zara pointed out while trailing off.
I chuckled at her shyness, from being co-interns to bringing her to work for me, she was still always hesitant with personal matters.
We got into the car and the driver headed to our headquarters, despite seeing pictures from Stefan and Axel when they helped with the development, I was still surprised by how beautiful and elegant it was.
"I had a similar reaction when I saw it," Zara confessed as we got down.
I chuckled and as we entered the first floor elevator, I whipped out my phone to send a thank you message to my brothers.
Our potential partners were already waiting so I didn't stop to change anything and walked in.
Just as I entered the ante room to the board room, a familiar figure stood up and walked towards me.
"Daisy?"
My brows narrowed as I stared at Declan's face that reminded me of Rigel.
"Who are you?"
