He thanked his lucky stars that he gave him the authority to enter his office even if he was busy.
Hearing the click of the door, James acted fast and grabbed Aelar by the throat, standing behind her and then moved back a bit.
Aelar yelped in fright, coming out of her daze.
'Haa…. The sensation is fading away.'
Aelar sighed in relief, unaware of the things she said seconds prior.

The knight commander immediately noticed the situation and acted on his instincts.
He retrieved his sword and called out, "Men!"
