"Jiang Xiaobai, you..."
Upon hearing Jiang Xiaobai recite a string of names and numbers, Liu Changhe's face turned pale. Weren't those recorded in his notebook? How could this young man possibly know?
Liu Changhe quickly understood. He had taken the two contracts he had signed with Liu Hongli back home, inadvertently leading Jiang Xiaobai to his house, losing not only the contracts but also that incriminating ledger.
"Did you poison my Blackie?"
Liu Changhe stared fiercely at Jiang Xiaobai, his eyes filled with murderous intent.
"Don't glare at me," Jiang Xiaobai smiled. "Liu Changhe, I have you in my grip. You recorded your bribery in that notebook; you simply thought to use it as a lifeline if pushed to the brink. If those big shots behind you ever find out you have this notebook, the consequences would be more than just them leaving you; some might even want your life."
