Samuel's POV
Samuel opened his eyes to the brisk, thin air of a mountain range. Peaks loomed around him, casting long shadows over the rocky terrain, and a biting wind carried the scent of frost. He took a deep breath, a quiet smile playing on his lips. "Let's have some fun" I murmured to myself.
With a flick of my wrist, I activated my system interface and examined the map layout, noting areas where clusters of students were likely to gather. Most students would likely flock toward the lower, safer paths of the mountain, as many will be too afraid to risk climbing the mountain directly as you will be in the open and anyone sneak up to them. This meant I could take out weaker opponents without having to worry about interference from tougher ones if I went there.
A few minutes after going downhill off the mountain, I spotted movement ahead. Three students were working their way along a narrow trail, speaking in hushed tones as they made their way around a steep cliff. Neither noticed him. Moving swiftly, he dashed forward, barely making a sound as he closed the distance.
"So predictable," I thought, as a faint smile appeared on my face.
"let's call out them or if I kill them in one fell swoop, there will be no fun in that" After moving close to them they sense my presence and turn toward me.

3rd person's pov
As Samuel closed in, the three students spun around after sensing his presence, their faces contorting with alarm as they saw him. Their leader is a tall boy with a scuffed sword, he took a step forward toward Samuel, gripping his weapon tightly. The other two, a girl wielding a short dagger and a boy with a staff, positioned themselves beside him while attempting to put on a brave front.
"Well, well, what do we have here?" Samuel drawled, tilting his head as he studied them. His gaze was predatory, and his eyes flickering with a glint of dark amusement. "Three little lambs, wandering right into the wolf's den. Did you really think the lower mountain path would be safe?"
The girl with the dagger tried to steady her voice, though her hands shook slightly. "We're not afraid of you, Drakewill. Just because you have a fancy name and a big attitude doesn't mean you're unstoppable."
Samuel chuckled, his laugh low and almost mocking. "Look like I'm pretty famous around here, huh?" He tilted his head, a teasing glint in his eyes. "Also brave words for someone holding a little knife. Don't tell, you are planning to use that?"
The boy with the staff stepped forward, eyes narrowing. "Enough talk. Let's take him down together. If we work as a team, he doesn't stand a chance."
"Ah, teamwork," Samuel said, a smile twisting his lips. "What a noble idea. Too bad it's useless against someone like me."
Without warning, he lunged forward, moving with a speed that left the three students stunned. His blade cut through the air with precise, fluid movements, forcing the boy with the staff to jump back, barely avoiding the strike. The girl with the dagger tried to flank him, hoping to catch him off guard, but Samuel anticipated her move.
Pivoting smoothly, he sidestepped her lunge and brought his blade down toward her shoulder. She managed to block it at the last second, but the force of his attack drove her backward, nearly toppling her off the narrow path. She steadied herself, her face becoming pale as she realized just how much stronger he was.
"Is this all you've got?" Samuel taunted; his voice laced with mock disappointment. "I expected more from students who try to enroll in the SOL Academy."
The leader with the sword growled in frustration after hearing Samuel's remark, and he charged forward with a powerful overhead swing aimed directly at Samuel. But Samuel barely moved, watching the boy's approach with a bored expression. At the last possible second, Samuel sidestepped effortlessly, letting the sword slice harmlessly through the empty air.
"Predictable," he muttered, almost to himself. "Come on, at least try to make it fun for me you guys are making me bored now."
Enraged, the leader swung again, his movements growing sloppier with each miss. Samuel danced around each attack, dodging with minimal effort and making a show of his agility. It was as if he were toying with them, taking pleasure in their mounting frustration.
The boy with the staff took advantage of the distraction, raising his weapon and sending a blast of mana hurtling toward Samuel. The energy struck with enough force to send dust and debris flying into the air, temporarily obscuring Samuel from view.
"He got him!" the girl gasped, her face lighting up with hope.
But as the dust settled, Samuel's figure emerged, unharmed and grinning. "Nice try," he said, brushing a bit of dust off his shoulder. "But you're going to need a lot more than that."
Before they could react, he moved again, this time targeting the boy with the staff. With a swift, calculated movement, he disarmed him, sending the staff clattering to the ground. Samuel pressed his blade to the boy's throat, his smirk widening.
"So, are you ready to give up, or do you still want to play?" he asked, his tone dangerously calm.
The boy's eyes widened, fear overtaking him. He swallowed hard but tried to put on a brave face. "We're--," Before he can complete his sentence Samuel cuts his head off.
"…" Samuel looks at the boy's body with a bored look on his face.
As Samuel glanced at the two remaining examinees, he noticed the girl's face was pale with shock, while the boy's eyes were wide with disbelief and fear at how easily Samuel killed the other boy.
Looking at their face Samuel asked, "What's the matter?" feigning a yawn. "You were so eager to fight a minute ago. Where's that courage now?"
The leader gritted his teeth, forcing himself to hold his ground. "We're not done yet, Drakewill."
"Suit yourself," Samuel replied, his voice, almost feeling like he was simply teasing them. "But make it fun for me or I have to eliminate you both in the strike."
Samuel charged forward, his movements a blur as he closed the distance between them. The leader managed to block his initial strike, but Samuel's second attack forced him back step by step. And with the next strike, he kills him also.
But just as he killed the leader, the girl lunged at him from behind, with desperation etched across her face. Samuel smirked, sidestepping her attack with ease and catching her wrist, twisting it just enough to make her drop her dagger.
"You really thought that would work?" he asked, shaking his head as he released her. "Pathetic."
With a flick of his wrist, he raised his blade one last time, his voice calm yet cold as he addressed her. "Now, let's end this, shall we?"
After killing the girl, the system announcement echoed through the mountain range: *Student Samuel Drakewill get the first, second, and third kill*.
He smirks after hearing the announcement, "It looks like if the examines from a team you will get the point only after you kill all of them."
"let's check the map where to go next" As he was looking at the map a loud noise caught his attention "It looks like some people are fighting there let move from the sound of it they can provide me with some fun" After that, he started to move toward the forest

Observation Room
Serlynthia watched the initial phases of the battle with a detached but discerning gaze, studying each student's movements and decisions on the holographic display.
Her focus sharpened when she saw Samuel's kills displayed, and a hint of intrigue flared in her eyes.
"Samuel Drakewill…" she murmured. The name had caught her attention during her review of the files. A prodigy of the Drakewill lineage and also known as the male version of Serlynthia Eirendale due to his overwhelming power and confidence that makes him believe he is above everyone at his age, And by the look he had the confidence and prowess of an experienced hunter, even if he lacked the polish that came with years of refinement.
But something about his approach captured her attention. There was a fierce determination in his eyes, a hunger that transcended mere ambition—it was as if the thrill of battle and the fun and the bloodshed come along it fueled his every move. She tapped his file, marking it for closer observation.
Still, her gaze wandered to the forest display, where Ethan and Aisha were working their way through opponents. They were progressing well, but Samuel's advance toward the forest made it clear that any student who hoped to claim the top spot would have to confront him. "This test will be more fun than I imagined," she mused.
