"What a total fuck up" Lucius as he fell back abruptly on his bed, throwing his phone aside.
The Adventurers Novel Crusade was a novel group Lucius was part of. He was an expert on webnovels, spending almost all his time engulfed in the fantastic fantasy novels by his favorite authors.
But lately, he expectations had been cut short by the anti-climactic ending of his favorite novel.
He couldn't believe that one of his favorite author would write such an awful book.
'I thought he was great at writing' Lucius said as he heaved a sigh.
The MC of the novel was a total nut job, he finally accomplished his quest on becoming the Demon King, but the way he abruptly dismissed women throughout the novel, made Lucius think that he wasn't really ready for world domination.
'I mean what kind of Demon Lord doesn't have a woman, not one?' Lucius thought, still feeling dissatisfied by the ending of the novel.
"I could have done better than the MC" Lucius said, feeling he could be a better MC than the nut job in the story.
Feeling bored, Lucius decided to take a stroll outside.
It was a cool evening as the sun painted the clouds in a vivid bright orange color.
Lucius would be going to college in two months and he would have to leave his world of excitement into a world of boredom laced with hardships.
He wanted to have some fun before going to college. If he could at least lose his virginity, it would be enough, but unfortunately for him he lacked the expertise on getting a girl. Prostitution was not an option as it was highly prohibited in the country. So he couldn't even buy his virginity off.
Lucius looked up at the sky, sighing heavily. He thought on complaining on the novel from before.
He told out his phone and made a comment on the book saying 'i could've done better' with that he tucked his phone back into his pocket.
As he continued on his calm stroll, hmm lost in his thoughts, he was suddenly jolted back into reality by the sound of a gunshot.
It was coming from the alley behind him, some group of boys where about to rob a girl.
Lucius didn't show concern at first as he didn't want to get involved in their shenanigans.
He continued on his way, ignoring the sounds of multiple gunshots. After walking a few steps forward, he kept on hearing the screams of the girl. He halted in his steps and turned back, reluctantly going back to the scene of the crime.
There he met the guys having their ways with her. Taking a few seconds to enjoy the view before him.
As he called out, the guys turned towards him, each having killer intentions towards him.
Lucius wasn't that great in combat, but guys like these was a piece of cake for him.
After some minutes of through beating, Lucius fists were covered in blood, basically their blood.
He turned to the lady behind him to as if she was ok, but he found himself gazing lustful at her perfectly shaped body. As they walked back to Lucius apartment, Lucius couldn't help but stare at her.

Lucius noticed his lustful act and stopped and apologized to her.
After some minutes of walking, they had gotten to Lucius apartment.
"Come in" Lucius said as he opened the door to his apartment, showing a neat, well furnished place.
As Lucius got into his parlor he sat down on the couch.
"The bathroom is on your left, there are some clothes on the bed, you can use that" Lucius said as he switched on the TV to watch somes new.
"T-thank you" the girl said stuttering as she headed in the direction where Lucius had pointed out for her.
After some minutes, she came out, Lucius couldn't help but stare at her, now that she was done cleaning up, she looked more beautiful than she did in the alley.
She came and sat down next to Lucius, keeping some distance between them.
"So what's your name?" Lucius asked wanting to know.
She didn't reply, still not feeling comfortable with Lucius.
"Ok if you don't wanna talk it's fine" Lucius saud as he turns back to the TV.
"Fucking hypocrites" Lucius said regarding the news of the TV.
He brought out his phone scrolling through some webnovels as it was the only thing he could find peace and solace in.
After reading something on his phone, his mood deepened showing a disappointed expression on his face.
It was about the comment he had made regarding the novel, it was taken down by the author.
"I could've done better" he said asked he took a cigar pack from his pocket and lighted it.
"Do you wish to change the story?" A voice rang in his head.
He sat back up straight looking at the girl beside him.
"Did you say something?" Lucius asked.
The girl nodded denying saying anything.
"Do you wish to accept the conditions?" The voice said, resounding in Lucius head.
"Yes" he answered, not knowing what compelled him to reply.
In that brief moment, Lucius felt a sharp pain from the side of his neck.
Lucius turned around to find a knife stuck in the side of his neck. He looked at the girl behind him holding it as he fell to the ground.
"See you in the new world" the girl said with a smile.
Lucius vision blurred as his consciousness faded away.
"Ding!!"
