Chapter 2 - Rebellion or determination

Ever since I was a kid, I've always had bad luck. I was always hated for no reason, and all because of this war, my life of spending time in school ended. That's good but also bad because instead of hanging out, we had to train with each other for death.

Ultimately, while I was knocked out, I had a weird dream. I was by the gates of the White House, with soldiers spanning across the whole street, and we raided it. "Weird…" I said without thinking. Shit, wait—looking around the second-floor shopping center and the destroyed skybridge, all I saw was debris and the ruins of the building. I got up slowly, holding my rifle. I felt around before picking it up, only to find debris. I looked down to find scraps that seemed to be my gun.

I looked closer, trying to inspect whatever the hell I found, only to see I was in a pool of blood. "What the hell?" I spoke out loud to myself, knowing I was in the clear. I wondered what happened for me to be in a pool of blood. "Shit, that's fucking nasty," I said. "Is this even my blood?" Well, what the fuck? It doesn't matter; I just gotta get out of here to somewhere safe so I can inspect myself.

I stood up from my spot and looked around at the mangled bodies from the bombs. I reminisced, remembering fucking around in school with most of these guys. My eyes began to burn. I closed my eyes, expecting the tears I'd been holding back to roll down my cheeks, but instead, I quickly changed emotions because I saw some type of menu. I opened my eyes and rubbed them, then closed them again, and the menu still showed up.

[Please Begin] A big button was in the center of the menu, and above it was a title that read: [COMMANDER IN CHIEF MASTERY].

I pressed the Begin button, and the scene faded into a slideshow that was being permanently absorbed into my brain.

[Hello! I am ViVi. I'm here to guide you through Commander in Chief Mastery. Luckily for you, I'm a nice person, so our first training probably won't kill you if you're not like the others.]

"Others?" I asked. "Are there any other people with what I have?"

[No, only one User is allowed for Commander in Chief Mastery every 600 years.]

Hmm, okay, so only one user. "Well, what's the first thing? What are we gonna do?"

[Well, as you officially began the program, I will guide you to your first lesson. Please say "Enter."]

"Enter," I said without thinking, and I was immediately surprised. It was like a wormhole from a movie, sucking me into another dimension.

[Here is your personal world. This is a safe place you may enter anytime and level up. Right now, your world is level one.]

World, huh? Where is it? It's just a blank white space. "ViVi, what do I do? Where is the world?"

[Ah, right. Here is the starter kit. Please overlook it.]

Okay, so the starter kit contained one book titled "Everything You Need to Know 101." The second thing was 150 personnel third was a land marker used to claim land "how do I deploy them. " Why did she forget to tell me [To deploy, please say 'Exit' to leave your personal world.]"

So, I said "Exit" to enter and placed down the troops.

[Please choose your governmental style.]

I chose the style Dictatorship, not because I'm a weirdo, but it just gives me absolute authority over others. I have a say. Immediately after that, I chose what honorifics for them to call me.

"Sovereign! We swear our absolute loyalty, no matter what!" They bowed and yelled out before me. "All heroes will be ranked accordingly, and after, they are to be LTO directly given to them."

I had them line up and introduce themselves. It turned out they were actually humans with memories, but they were from different timelines, and they all died while I got to know them. I gave the combatants rankings and the others badges.
