"Marrying me doesn't mean you don't have to do any household chores," Arlon shouted at Florie as he tossed a broom at her. "Mom will be here soon, and I want you to clean everything here," he remarked coldly while wearing his coat.
"Don't go out or even try to invite anyone here. This is my house and my rules," Arlon reminded Florie as he glared at her with hatred in his eyes sending shiver down to her spine.
"Wait, but your mom said she'll be coming over," Florie said, while putting aside the broom. Arlon just rolled his eyes at Florie in annoyance, as he grabbed his briefcase.
"I don't care about my mom; just hurry and finish the dishes before she arrives and tell her I won't be able to go home since there was an urgent at the company," Arlon said in a hurry as he grab his car keys and left without waiting a reply from Florie.
Florie just let out a deep sigh before heading inside the kitchen and start to do the dishes while also preparing meals for lunch since Mrs. Zion informed them that she will be arriving to visit.
While doing the house chores and preparing for a guest, Florie remembered her past that she was once a beautiful girl who work at her grandmother's flower shop. Florie Evelan was an ordinary girl who simply want to live like a normal girl, but fate started to mess with her, and everything became complicated.
The Evelan family owned a business before; her grandmother was rich, but not until her parents took it for granted, as they all started to waste the money on useless things until they became broke. Florie Evelan was a smart girl and always been kind to everyone, but then her grandmother start to feel ill and its business went bankrupt, with that Florie family started to blame her even though she didn't do anything, yet her grandmother was always there to take care of her and raises her into a nice girl. Because of that, she promises her grandmother that she will start to take care of the flower shop and, as much as possible, earn money to buy medicine even though they know that it was impossible.

It was early in the morning at 8 am, and Florie was already heading toward the flower shop downtown, every time she arrived there, she always re-arrange the flowers while changing some with a new and fresh ones.
As she busied herself, here was a white Mercedes that pulled up in front of the flower shop. Florie looked up and was amazed by the luxury car that was parked in front of the flower shop; she was mesmerized by it before snapping back to reality when a beautiful-looking young woman stepped out of the Mercedes.
The woman walked inside while scrutinizing the beautiful flowers that were displayed in every corner of the shop. Florie smiled while watching the woman walk toward the counter where she was standing.
"I heard this shop always sells new flowers," the woman said while still looking around. Florie smiled as she stepped out of the counter.
"Yes, ma'am, we always put new flowers in every pot as a symbol of the new day and we also want to serve our customers with new ones everyday to make it worth the pay," Florie explained while showing some flowers she just brought from their farm.
"May I know what kind of flower you need?" Florie asked while waiting for the woman to respond.
"Well, I'm trying to find a flower for my son's fiancé," the woman said with a hatred look on her face.
"I see, well, we have a new harvest bouquet of roses if you would like," Florie said with a smile as she showed the woman the bouquet of roses paired to a nice wrapper.
The woman just stared at the bouquet before rubbing her temple in annoyance, but she just let out a sigh before looking back at Florie.
"No, I want a bouquet of black roses and a mix of tansies," the woman said with bitterness in her tone. Florie looked at the woman with confusion at the sudden request of the woman.
"What do you mean, ma'am? Black roses mean something deep, and so does the tansies; that would mean being against them," Florie explained, but the woman just shakes her head as she looks at Florie with an intense gaze.
"I know what I am saying," the woman said with a dead serious tone, but Florie was so confused on why the woman chooses such flowers as a gift
"Is there a problem with your son's fiancé?" Florie asked the woman. The woman noticed Florie's confusion, making her smile.
"I just don't like the woman that my son was marrying, because, as a mother, I know what kind of wife my son needed," the woman said, making Florie smile as she nodded.
"Well then, ma'am, I'll give you a bouquet of dahlias then," Florie said, making the woman look at her confused.
"Dahlias? But I didn't ask for that," the woman said, but Florie was already wrapping a bouquet of Dahlias.
"I know, ma'am, but it is much better to give a flower with a positive and negative meaning, right?" Florie said while winking at the woman playfully, making the woman laugh lightly.
"I see where this is going," the woman said as she watched Florie pack the bouquet.
While the woman watched Florie, she caught sight of how pure and beautiful Florie was. There was something about Florie that caught the woman's attention, but she hasn't quite figured it out.
"There it is, ma'am, oh, and make sure just give the flower to your son. After all, it was your stupid son who chose a woman like her," Florie said playfully while handing the bouquet to the woman.
The woman just laughed lightly again while paying for the bouquet. After a few minutes, the woman bid goodbye and thanked Florie for her kind services.Â
As soon as the woman claimed back inside her Mercedes, she watched Florie for a moment first before turning her attention towards her driver.
"Get her information, and I want it before this week ends," the woman demanded to her driver, as her driver nodded in understanding.
