### Chapter 39 "Old-fashioned" Su Yu
At 12:30 noon, Xuehualuo began sending Nemesis private messages.
**Xuehualuo:** "Brother! Let me tell you something very interesting!"
**Xuehualuo:** "Today, a lunatic broke into our classroom and slapped our class teacher, Fang! Then this lunatic jumped from the third floor! Hahaha!"
**Snow Leopard:** "…"
**Snowfall:** "Isn't it particularly interesting?"
**Snow Leopard:** "…"
**Xuehualuo:** "Huh? Brother, have you cleared [Thunder Cliff]? What happened there?"
**Snow Leopard:** "Luoluo, these things aren't important right now. I need you to help me contact Nemesis."
A few minutes later, Su Yu received a private message from Xue Hualuo: **"Na Na Na, Master, my brother wants to see you."**
**Su Yu:** "Your brother?"
**Xuehualuo:** "My brother is 'Snow Leopard'! The one who just cleared the [Thunder Cliff] dungeon for the first time."
**Su Yu:** "Oh?"
Su Yu was a bit surprised to discover that Xuehualuo was actually Snow Leopard's younger sister. In his previous life, he had never heard that Snow Leopard had a sister. However, since Xuehualuo had quit the game early back then, it made sense that she hadn't gained any notoriety.
**Xuehualuo:** "My brother wants to meet you. As an apology for wasting your time, he's willing to pay you a meeting fee, whether it's in-game equipment, currency, or even out-of-game cash or an anonymous black card payment. The amount is up to you."
**Su Yu:** "The meeting fee is unnecessary. Just let him meet me at the entrance of the Level 10 Wolf King Valley."
**Snowfall:** "Okay, master!"
Su Yu packed away the equipment dropped by the raccoons and made his way toward the Valley of the Wolf King. He had initially wanted to meet Snow Leopard, but since Xuehualuo invited him, he simply agreed. Meeting at the Wolf King Valley was also to avoid being seen bullying the cute raccoons, which would be rather embarrassing.
With Su Yu's level now raised to 7 and having obtained the first kill of the raccoon boss, he felt he had no lingering attachments to that area.
Wenfeng Woodland and Wolf King Valley both lay to the west of Novice Village. Su Yu arrived first at the entrance of Wolf King Valley.
A few minutes later, Snow Leopard and his five-member team, along with Xuehualuo, approached. The steep cliffs at the entrance of the Wolf King Valley cast solemn expressions on their faces. Despite having acquired rare equipment, they understood how challenging it would be to level up in the area inhabited by level 10 wild monsters. Su Yu's ability to thrive here demonstrated his strength.
Standing at the entrance of Wolf King Valley, Su Yu regarded Snow Leopard. He bore a striking resemblance to how Su Yu remembered him in his previous life—his face characterized by sharp, defined features, exuding determination.
Snow Leopard observed Su Yu in turn. To him, Su Yu appeared rather ordinary, but something about the way Su Yu looked at him was oddly familiar, reminiscent of the kind demeanor he had seen from seasoned military veterans.
"Hello, Nemesis. I'm Snow Leopard; it's a pleasure to meet you!" Snow Leopard stepped forward, extending his hand.
Su Yu, however, chose not to shake his hand. Instead, he kept his hands behind his back and greeted Snow Leopard warmly: "Hello! Young man."
"…" The corner of Snow Leopard's mouth twitched. At thirty-five or thirty-six years old, he found it surprising for someone so young to address him like that. Nonetheless, given Su Yu's accomplishments in the game, he wasn't about to underestimate him.
Snow Leopard spoke seriously: "I'm here to invite you to join our guild."
"If you agree to join, I can offer you the position of vice-chairman and the highest benefits in the guild!"
**Range is Justice** added enthusiastically, "Yes! Our guild is united and friendly, and we have a great atmosphere. Plus, there isn't a single woman in the guild—you'll be satisfied after joining!"
His remark earned him several side glances from the others present.
Su Yu's mouth twitched at the comment, but he slowly raised his arm, waving gently and adopting an old-fashioned tone: "Forget it. Guilds are for you young folks; I'm just an old relic who should have faded into history. I won't participate."
"Should have faded into history?" Xuehualuo echoed, confusion evident on her face.
Snow Leopard pressed on: "Then, senior, I have another question. What rewards will the game give after reaching level 50?"
He noticed a shift in Su Yu's demeanor. The young man's tone now contrasted sharply with the confident speaker he had heard during the "big speaker commercial" yesterday!
Su Yu, maintaining his pose with hands behind his back and his upper body slightly hunched, replied, "Give me a reason to share that information with you."
The five members of Snow Leopard exchanged glances, unsure of how to proceed.
After a moment, Snow Leopard sighed softly: "Senior, we are working for Guo Jia."
"Guo Jia? Guo Fengxiao? Hehe, an old acquaintance indeed," Su Yu nodded, a sense of nostalgia washing over him. If only he could grow a gray beard to complement his words.
In a voice tinged with wisdom, he said, "Alright then, I'll share a bit of information. But first, let me ask you—do you truly understand this world?"
He raised his right hand slightly, gathering electric energy that crackled ominously between his fingers.
Caliber is Justice, also a mage, was taken aback by Su Yu's display. "How is this possible?"
"What's wrong?" The others turned to him in confusion.
"Look at that! This spell is [Lightning Bolt], and I just picked up a copy from the warehouse last night," Caliber explained. "But after I cast [Lightning Arrow], it immediately shot from my hand. How can Nemesis hold lightning like that for so long?"
The team stared at Su Yu, now with a newfound sense of respect.
Su Yu smiled, canceling the [Lightning Bolt] spell as he spoke slowly: "Have you ever considered that this may not be a game at all, but a new world transformed by a dead realm?"
"What I'm suggesting is that the spells you learn in this new world might possess powers that could be brought back to Blue Star at a certain point in time."
Su Yu was not just spouting nonsense; he had a fragment of evidence from his previous life suggesting that "Evolution" was a newly formed world derived from the experiments of singer civilization, rather than a mere game.
The five members of Snow Leopard stood frozen, taken aback by Su Yu's revelations.
Su Yu's words held too much information for them to digest all at once.
Finally, Snow Leopard gathered his thoughts and asked cautiously, "Senior, are you saying that after reaching level 50, it could be possible to bring the game's powers into the real world?!"
If that were true, the implications were staggering!
