Now that Su Yu had hit level 5, he could finally equip the [Wind Velvet Belt] he had acquired from the Silver Snake. After upgrading it to rare quality, he eagerly donned the belt.

**[Wind Velvet Belt lv5 (Rare)]**

- **Defense:** +10

- **Backpack Capacity:** +5

With the additional slots, Su Yu's backpack now had 25 available spaces, significantly easing his inventory troubles from his recent level grind.

"Once I reach Plantagenet City, I can take on the 'Scarlet Rose' Tavern quest to expand my backpack further," he mused, thinking ahead.

Having achieved level 5, his next task was to tackle a dungeon. He checked his friends list, noting that both Zhantian Sword and True Red Eyes Black Dragon were online. However, neither had reached out to him, possibly due to the recent chaos that had unfolded.

Su Yu noted that since elite players like Zhantian Sword had yet to hit level 5, he still had time to move ahead without immediate competition. With a sense of determination, he equipped his leather armor to boost his movement speed and headed back to Nolan Village.

Two minutes later, he arrived back in the village and immediately made his way to the magic hut. Su Yu was aware that the damage of the [Fireball] and [Frostbolt] scrolls had become inadequate for his needs. The old magician Pism had mentioned a new batch of goods, so he hoped to find something more powerful.

Upon entering the hut, Su Yu relayed his request. The old magician's eyes lit up with excitement. He produced a fresh exchange list and presented it to Su Yu with a flourish, as if offering a precious artifact.

"Little brother, this is the first-order scrolls I obtained from the temple at great cost. I hope you're satisfied!" Pism exclaimed.

Su Yu scanned the list, noting the familiar zero-level spells. [Fireball] and [Frostbolt] were priced at 50 psionic coins each, but there was an array of first-order spells available, including fire spells like [Rain of Fire] and [Secondary Fireball], ice spells like [Cone of Ice] and [Frost Nova], as well as earth and lightning spells priced at 200 psionic coins each.

"This selection looks promising," Su Yu said, pleased.

"Yes! I, Pism, may not have many talents, but I do have my connections. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to obtain these goods!" the old magician boasted.

"But really, 200 for these? The average price in Plantagenet City is around 150 psionic coins. Are you trying to take advantage of me?" Su Yu's tone turned stern.

Though he had plenty of wealth, he would not let anyone exploit him without a fight.

Startled, Pism quickly backtracked, "Oh, you misunderstand! Nolan Village is quite far from the city, and transportation is a hassle. Charging 200 is already a fair price!"

Su Yu cut him off. "Let's settle on 140 each. If you won't, I'll just go to Theon, the pharmacist in the village."

"140… well…" The old magician hesitated, clearly weighing his options. After a lengthy pause, he sighed in resignation. "Alright, 140 it is. Consider it a favor to you, little brother."

With that, Su Yu purchased 700 first-order scrolls at 140 psionic coins each, totaling 98,000 psionic coins. He also bought 200 bottles of [Elementary Magic Recovery Potion] to restock his supplies since the old magician had no new potions available.

Once outside the magic hut, he headed to the warehouse to auction off the [Light Cloud Buckler], [Sliding Scale Breastplate], and the [Power Word Shield] skill scroll that he had obtained from the Silver Snake Boss. He also listed the [Fireball] and [Frostbolt] scrolls at 30 psionic coins each to free up space in his inventory.

With that done, Su Yu approached the dungeon merchant, [Jenny], and paid 10 psionic coins for a level 5 dungeon ticket.

"Hello, adventurer! Which dungeon would you like to enter?" Jenny asked, her demeanor warm and welcoming.

Three level 5 dungeons were available:

1. **[Qingqing Grassland]**—featuring the level 4 wild monster, [Hillside Sheep].

2. **[Silver Snake under Qingcheng Mountain]**—based on the level 5 wild monster, [Silver Snake].

3. **[Thunder Bluff]**—featuring the level 6 wild monster, [Ferocious Bison].

Given his options, Su Yu instinctively chose the simplest dungeon. He selected [Qingqing Grassland] and stepped into the portal.

A familiar sensation of dizziness and weightlessness enveloped him, and when he opened his eyes again, he found himself standing in an expansive prairie.

"You have entered the level 5 dungeon [Qingqing Grassland]."

"Dungeon Introduction: Once home to a gentle flock of sheep, the Qingqing Grassland has fallen prey to foreign energies, turning the sheep into aggressive, wild beasts." (200 words omitted)

"Your mission is to invade Yangcun and defeat the village chief!"
