"I have no idea what you are talking about" said Stryker as he slowly backed away. With a gesture of Adam's hand, one of Stryker's legs twisted in opposite directions. Shattering the bones within into sharp shards which pierced through, protruding from his mangled leg. Stryker screamed out loud in pain as he collapsed on the ground clutching his shattered leg in agony. Never before in his life had he ever felt such pain.
"Something tells me that you are lying. But don't worry I'll squeeze the truth out of you if that's what you want" Adam raised his hand ready to twist and shatter Stryker's other leg when Stryker shouted towards him, raising his hands in surrender and telling him to stop.
"Stop. The reason why you can't affect my mind is because I have a microchip implanted within my brain with the sole purpose of blocking telepaths like yourself from controlling me."
"And how did you come about with this idea?"
"I had my scientists make it for me after I witnessed Charles demonstrate his abilities to the CIA for the first time in an attempt to receive their help a few years ago."
"I see. Just one moment. Don't go anywhere" instructed Adam as he walked towards the unconscious Team X members proceeding to go through all of their memories one by one.
Within a few minutes Adam had gone through thousands of memory scenes with the longest and most valuable being those belonging to Victor who had lived just as long if not longer than Logan himself.
'Well, well. These guys have quite the useful set of skills. I'll have to absorb them before doing anything else. Especially the teleportation ability of John Wraith and the Technopathy ability of Chris Bradley'
"Right well, I assume you guys came here with a vehicle. Yes?"
Stryker nodded.
"Good we will need to go to a different motel using it as you guys blew up my current one."

That night. Adam settled into a ground floor room of a Motel on the rural sides of Virginia. Right outside the door was a large black parked Jeep with tinted windows in which rested the unconscious bodies of Agent Zero, Fred Dukes, and Chris Bradley. Meanwhile in the room was the unconscious body of John Wraith and the haggard, tired body of Colonel William Stryker. His leg had been bandaged and stitched but that was all Adam allowed to be treated as he wanted the Colonel tired and injured so that he couldn't run away. But that wasn't all. Inside Stryker's armoured black Jeep, Adam had found large chains made of an extremely tough and durable metal that looked a lot like the metal on Logan's Adamantium skeleton. It must have been brought to tie up Logan when they incapacitated him but Adam used it to tie up and bind Stryker after which he gagged him and locked in way in the Motel bathroom.
Learning from his previous Motel encounter, Adam also barricaded the door with various furniture and also shut the windows and closed the blinds of the room plunging it into darkness. Adam then grabbed the unconscious body of John Wraith and activated his Probability power. Upon receiving the 100% ability transfer guarantee, Adam smiled and proceeded with the process. Once again he experienced a tremendous of pain as reality was altered to transfer John's ability to himself. And just like before, he collapsed falling unconscious after the process was completed. As for John, his corpse began to crumble to dust and eventually fade away but Adam wasn't awake so he missed the spectacular display.
This time however he didn't regain consciousness after two days but rather the next night, John regained consciousness. Noticing that he had spent only an entire day unconscious, Adam deduced that it was most likely because his body was multiple times stronger during this transformation than it had been when he performed his two previous transformations which was why it was much easier for his power to perfectly add even more powers to his body. With his new ability acquired Adam decided to give it a test run. Imagining the lot outside Adam imagined appearing there and activated his power. Instantly he felt himself shift through space, his atoms shifting through the very gaps between spacial molecules before reforming themselves right next to the black Geep outside the Motel. All this happened within millisecond. His teleportation had been successful. Adam also noticed that his teleportation, unlike nightcrawler's, was quiet and had not visual effects. Simply disappearing and re-appearing at another location within a millisecond.
The only thing that felt out of place was his body's instinctual feel of his powers which could only be acquired over time as his body got used to using these abilities. For now though he had to actually remember that he had these powers and activate them for them to work when he needed to be able to use these powers on pure instinct and subconsciously like the way he used his arms or he breathed. All of it had to flow instinctively within himself.
Opening the door of the black Geep, Adam scanned the minds of the unconscious Team X members and after ensuring that they remained unconscious by reinforcing his mental command. He picked up his next target and levitated him into the Motel. He was about to start acquiring another power when he suddenly heard his stomach growling loudly.
'Best to get some food'
Leaving the Motel room, Adam took a taxi to the next restaurant where he ordered a bunch of burgers, drinks, and fries. After enjoying his meal at the restaurant and filling his stomach, Adam left the restaurant fully satisfied and his belly quite full. He soon arrived at his Motel room where after using his abilities to confirm the probability of acquiring Fred Dukes' powers was 100%, he proceeded to perform the procedure once more. Undergoing the usual intense pain across his entire body, Adam soon fell unconscious once more as his power's transfer process was completed.
