It was a terrible day. When I looked outside, the pouring rain was so fast that it was like a huge fog that was covering the ground. There were flashes of light that would fill the sky, making it look as if a crack had appeared in the heavens. When the crack had faded, there would be a large bang that would resonate over the land like a gunshot. Last but not least were the gale force winds; they were blowing so hard I thought a tornado could form at any moment. Even with all the rain outside, the sound of it hitting the roof felt comfortable. Before I knew it, I was asleep.
When I awoke from my slumber, the breeze was gentle and could barely be heard, but I did hear some leaves rustling outside, which was weird because there are no trees near my house, but I was so focused on the fact that the storm had ended to dwell on it any further. I walked to the door to see what damage the storm had caused outside, but to my surprise, when I opened the door, I was in a forest full of plants I had never seen before. It was very strange how my house was now in the middle of a forest, as if I had been transported to a new world by the storm. I waited a few seconds in shock but then decided that I still needed to eat to survive, so I went to the kitchen to look for food. I made a sandwich and then decided to go explore outside.
