Sure enough, the system produced a high-quality product!
With the Teigu, Reiki would at least be safer in the early stages and have some ability to protect himself.
Setting aside his excitement, he gently placed Shizune on the bed.
Reiki left the hospital and arrived at a public training ground.
"System."
Reiki raised his hand and summoned the Teigu, Demon Haunting, with a single thought.
The strength of the Teigu aside, the large sword in his hand was undoubtedly comparable to the famous swords in the ninja world.
"I thought you would hide in the hospital and never come out."
Just as Reiki was about to familiarize himself with the Teigu, a familiar voice reached his ears.
"Sarutobi Asuma?"
"Anbu?"
He glanced at Asuma in front of him and the two masked ninjas behind him, sneering inwardly. The ANBU, originally an organization meant to protect the Hokage, had now become thugs in Asuma's hands. Was this village really so decayed?
"Kneel and apologize to me, or you won't be leaving here today."
"Remember, some people are beyond your station in life."
"To you, I am that kind of person!" Asuma shouted, his face filled with arrogance. As the Hokage's son, he felt entitled to call upon the ANBU for backup.
"Master Asuma, it's best to resolve this quickly and go back. We have work to do, and if the Hokage finds out about this…"
One of the ANBU members spoke up, clearly uneasy about bullying a child, especially since this child was Tsunade's disciple.
"I know, you don't need to remind me!" Asuma snapped, advancing toward Reiki with his hand raised, ready to strike. He completely dismissed the idea that Reiki would fight back, thinking the ANBU would hold him back.
"Smack!"
In the next moment, Asuma was sent flying.
Reiki lunged forward, pinning him to the ground and delivering a powerful blow.
"Master Asuma!" The ANBU members were taken aback, reacting a few seconds too late, ready to intervene.
"Are you planning to attack my disciple?" A calm voice froze them in place. It was none other than Senju Tsunade, the princess of the Senju clan.
"Tsunade-sama, we had no intention of escalating things. We were only trying to break up the fight."
For a moment, the ANBU looked like children caught misbehaving, shifting uncomfortably.
"Children will fight; it's normal," Tsunade replied. "They will be the backbone of Konoha in the future. If they can't handle a little scuffle, how will they face the true battles of the ninja world? Let's just watch."
Tsunade sat on a high wall, raising a wine bottle to her lips. The two ANBU ninjas exchanged nervous glances. If they intervened, they risked incurring Tsunade's wrath. But if they didn't, Asuma would likely end up in the hospital again. They felt powerless; the gap between their strength and Tsunade's was too great. After much deliberation, they chose to stand back and observe.
"Reiki, how dare you hit me?" Asuma shouted weakly.
"Clap, clap…"
"What are you waiting for? Take him down! He's just a civilian ninja—what are you afraid of?"
"Bang, bang, bang…"
"Reiki, why don't you hit me again?"
"Bang, bang, bang…"
"Reiki, stop! I was wrong…"
"Bang, bang, bang…"
"Reiki, let me go, I'll…"
"Help me…"
Screams filled the air. As for safety? No worries. Who was Reiki? A medical ninja! He was well-versed in human anatomy, and with holy hands available, he could heal even the worst injuries.
He wasn't about to let go of this "good boy" who had come to challenge him.
"Holy hands!"
Just as Asuma's voice began to waver, Reiki swiftly treated all his injuries with Holy hands.
"Hahaha, I knew you were too weak to do anything to me. I must have been under your illusion!"
Asuma thought he was simply delusional, never considering the source of Reiki's power.
"Bang, bang, bang…"
Asuma's screams echoed once more.
After more than an hour, Reiki's chakra was nearly depleted. Asuma had experienced the thrill of being beaten half to death three times, and although his injuries were healed, he no longer had the energy to scream.
"Thank you, two ANBU masters, for witnessing our practical training. I didn't hurt him; Asuma was just a bit careless."
Reiki stood up, smiling at the two ANBU members, whose expressions turned wary. But upon reflection, they realized this was truly not Reiki's fault. Asuma was the one who instigated trouble and was now paying the price.
"Take him and get out!" Tsunade ordered as she jumped down from the wall.
"Yes, Tsunade-sama." The two ninjas, relieved, quickly took Asuma away.
"You've improved quickly," Tsunade said, looking at Reiki with satisfaction. "I sensed powerful chakra fluctuations. Were you planning to use some advanced ninjutsu?"
Reiki thought back to the incident with Asuma. It was only fair, given the Sarutobi clan's arrogance, especially after so many Senju had fallen into enemy traps due to intelligence failures.
Tsunade was starting to take a liking to him.
"Ah, this…" Reiki said, extending the long sword toward her. "Sword skills? Or is this some special ninja sword?"
Tsunade sensed the aura of the evil spirit but found nothing specific. The shape, however, was clearly not that of an ordinary blade.
"Teacher, could you set up a barrier to keep this hidden from others?" Reiki asked, deciding it was time to reveal the existence of the evil spirit to Tsunade. He didn't worry about being coveted; that was overthinking.
Upon hearing his request, Tsunade quickly formed seals and erected a barrier around them.
