Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 The Little Kid's Mistake

____From the way Phantom sent out his magic senses, Phantom actually had very little control over elements other than wind. It was no wonder he couldn't use these spells, but Phantom felt dissatisfied . He couldn't stop here.

____Phantom made a new decision . He sat up straight and closed his eyes to focus again. This time Phantom imagined a huge world in front of him. Inside the world was a wind that held the heavy world in the dark space. When he projected the miniature image onto a grain of dust, inside the grain of dust were many molecules of various elements that were stuck together far apart. Between each particle was as far apart as stars that were light years away. But in the space between the molecules, there were still particles of air that lifted these particles to float in mid-air. And there were electrochemical bonds that held each molecule together.

____Phantom strangely felt a natural energy that was more distinct and intense than ever before. It was as if he felt a heavy mountain pressed around him, his body and mouth filled with countless lumps of earth. Phantom had never felt like he had turned into an entire mountain before.

____"Terus ! " Phantom cast another earth elemental spell.

____The boy suddenly turned his palms over and lifted both hands that were placed above his knees slightly. In that instant, the entire library shook, as if there was a weak epicenter of an earthquake occurring in the center of the library. The bookshelves that were arranged in the shape of stars and the hundreds of ancient magic books seemed to be shaken slightly, but this phenomenon was strong enough to instantly wake everyone in the church from their dream.

____"Oh no !! " Phantom 's eyes widened. The boy accidentally shouted in shock.

____He knew he had made a terrible mistake. Such a tremor must have woken everyone in the church instantly. Phantom leapt up from his wooden chair like a startled cat. With a simple sweep of his hand, the candles on the table went out and flew into Phantom's hands. The dozens of heavy books that Phantom had not finished reading flew back into their original places on the bookshelf as if no one had ever touched them before.

____Phantom rushed out of the library, quickly locking the door. Everything happened so automatically that even Phantom had no idea how it happened. Phantom sprinted down the dark corridor as fast as his four years old legs could carry him.

____The groggy voices that started to come from the doors on both sides of the corridor and the light that came through the wooden doors of the people's rooms made Phantom so scared that his hair stood on end all over his body. Phantom had been trying his best for almost 5 years to have the image of a perfect, good boy in the eyes of the Bishop and all the male and female priests in this church. He didn't want everything to collapse because of a small matter like this and his own stupidity.

____The doors of the dormitory of more than a hundred orphans opened and closed quickly and soundlessly. Fortunately, young children were usually harder to wake up than adults, so at this time, not a single orphan had woken up and was aware of the whole thing. Furthermore, the entire dormitory was still pitch black. There were only a few sleep-talks from some children who seemed to be waking up, but in the end, they just sleep-talked and fell back asleep.

____Phantom kicked his legs and shot up onto his second-floor bed without wasting any time walking and climbing onto the bed. The whole process from start to finish took Phantom more than 30 seconds, but if it was his previous body, he should have been able to do it in no more than 5 seconds, and that too without the aid of magic. Phantom could only curse in his heart at his tiny, limp legs.

____Phantom 's childish body was so weak at the moment, but there was nothing he could do about it. The child's body was not suitable for vigorous exercise yet, but after this, Phantom was determined to train his body to return to its original health.

____Phantom felt at a loss. He wanted to understand magic, he wanted to study the knowledge of this new world, he wanted to train his body. There were too many things Phantom wanted to do, but he had too many limitations, and time was too short. He wished that this world had 48 hours a day, but that was impossible. Phantom tried to observe and calculate, even if this world had magic, it had the same scientific basis as his original world in every way. That included the rotation time of this planet and the orbit of the sun. It was possible that this planetary system might be exactly the same as the solar system. But if that were the case, it wouldn't be strange.

____Bam !!!

____"What the hell is going on here !!! " The sound of a door being slammed open was heard along with a clear voice shouting loudly.

____That action instantly woke up over a hundred little children. All the orphans were raised like they were in a boarding school with strict discipline. This included the fact that all the priests were not the children's biological parents. Although they were kind, they were not always kind. Therefore, in front of all the bishops and priests, the orphans were like military cadets in front of their military drill instructors.

____As soon as Bishop's voice was heard , all the children quickly stood up straight on the floor in front of their bunk beds as if they had practiced it a thousand times.

____In front of the orphanage dormitory, a beautiful young woman stood. She was Bishop Vanessa. Bishop Vanessa was a 32 years old woman, but she still looked like a young girl of 18. Bishop Vanessa wore a white bishop's uniform embroidered with gold trim. The inner garment was a long priest 's robe with a shawl covering the upper part of the body. Outside, she wore a thick white magic robe with a fur hood to protect well from the cold wind. Around her neck was a fiery red sun pendant. Both the front and the back were embroidered with gold thread in the shape of a sun. Overall, Bishop Vanessa looked more like a saint than an ordinary bishop . However, the anger on her face right now seemed very scary in the eyes of the orphans.

____"Can someone tell me what's going on here ?! " Bishop Vanessa began to calm down after she looked around the room and saw nothing out of the ordinary and no children were missing.

____All the orphans looked at each other in confusion, because they didn't even know what had happened.

____"Dahad ! Are all your brothers here?" Bishop Vanessa turned to ask Dahad.

____Dahad is an orphan who is considered the leader of all the orphans. He is 14 years old. Dahad is not a smart person. His appearance is not handsome or outstanding. He is rather cunning. However, Dahad is good at talking, has good words, knows how to flatter and always succeeds in whatever the church assigns him. Therefore, he has gained a lot of trust from Bishop Vanessa .

____Dahad looked around the room and quickly counted the orphans, but he did not find anything unusual. Moreover, all the children were present. No one seemed to have run away or acted suspiciously. Therefore, he did not understand what exactly had happened that night.

____"Everyone, Bishop Vanessa ," Dahad said, bowing inappropriately as if he were imitating the gesture of a high-ranking official.

____"Is that so?" Bishop Vanessa said calmly. As she was about to say something, another senior sister suddenly walked into the room.

____"Lady Vanessa , everything is fine. Nothing seems out of the ordinary. I thought it was just a minor earthquake. It's quite normal," Sister Catherine told the bishop after she and the others had explored the library, where the unusual event had occurred.
