The next day, there was an event at the palace, Sung Jae took the chance because he was curious about what his uncle said to him. The event had started, and everyone was having fun. The king seems to be not in the mood because of what Sung Jae has told him. Sung Jae sneakily went inside the king's room. Then he saw a woman, helping the king to wash his body. Sung Jae felt irritated as if he was Hyung Sik, in his mind "She's not even beautiful, why would I be jealous?". Then someone grabbed his arm, it was one of the king's soldiers "What are you doing in here! You are forbidden to enter the king's room" Sung Jae was so scared and can't even spit a word and then the king suddenly slaps his soldier "Who are you to touch him! You don't get to hurt my property" Sung Jae was furious and kicked the king on his foot 'What property., You jerk!" Sung Jae was crying and running as fast as he could to get out from the palace.
Sung Jae has gone to a place that he isn't familiar with. Sung Jae couldn't stop crying. A man approached him "Why is such a cute guy crying in this dark place? Are you lost?" Sung Jae replied "Yes, I am but I am not crying" the man handed him a handkerchief. The man introduced himself "I am Byeong Cheol" Sung Jae will introduce himself, but King Sang Woo interrupted, the king held the hand of Sung Jae and so Byeong Cheol too. Then the king said, "This guy is mine" Sung Jae looked at him with a disappointed look, he took the king's hand from him and chose to go with Byeong Cheol. The king was left alone in a cold and dark place.
As Byeong Cheol and Sung Jae walked, it began to snow. Sung Jae was overwhelmed by his emotions, feeling intense anger towards the king. Despite his fury, he couldn't get the king out of his mind. Even though the king treated him as property, Sung Jae remained concerned about him. Byeong Cheol took Sung Jae to his home. Sung Jae exclaimed, "Wow, your house is huge! I thought places like this only existed in K-dramas." Byeong Cheol replied "What k-drama?" Sung Jae laughs went to his room, appearing troubled. "What have I done? Is he alright out there? I'm still angry at him, but I can't ignore that he thinks he owns me," Sung Jae vented, unaware that Byeong Cheol overheard him.
After night day had passed, to get back to his place, Byeong Cheol accompanied Sung Jae, and said, "Thank you so much, Cheol." Byeong Cheol responded, "No problem, Hyun Sik. You know I would do anything for you." Sung Jae was puzzled by the fact that Byeong Cheol knew his name.
