Chapter 10 - Love Confession

I asked her while driving " Janu, I'd like to get to know you better."

She was a bit shy but smiled softly as she replied, " That's sweet of you to say. I'd like to get to know you better too. What would you like to know about me? "

I said listening to her " I'm glad you feel that way. To start, could you tell me about your hobbies or interests? What do you like to do in your free time? "

As we began our conversation, she eagerly shared stories from her past, particularly her cherished memories of living in the village with her dad and other relatives. She painted a vivid picture of her life there, describing the simple joys and close-knit relationships that surrounded her.

It was clear that those days were filled with happiness, laughter, and love. She talked about the warm afternoons spent playing outside and the special gatherings with family that made her feel connected and content. Living in the village, she felt a sense of belonging and peace that stayed with her long after those days had passed.

As I listened to her recount her cherished memories of life in the village, I couldn't help but notice a change in her expression. Her voice, once warm and animated, began to waver as she spoke about the troubling situation caused by Dhanush.

It was clear that the stress and sadness of the circumstances weighed heavily on her heart. Wanting to lift her spirits, I gently reassured her, looking her in the eyes with sincerity. I promised that I would take care of Dhanush's case and make sure that he wouldn't be able to take away the villagers' land. I wanted her to feel a sense of hope and safety, to understand that she wasn't alone in this fight.

I also introduced my business to her, mentioning that I have built an estate empire and even own some news channels. Throughout our conversation, I kept making small jokes to make her laugh and smile, ensuring she wouldn't be bored.

After a while, we reached my bungalow. I saw a large number of bodyguards armed with guns guarding the door, and I knew that Masood had done an excellent job again. I noticed that Jaya Prakash and the others had already arrived and Masood was receiving them, leading them towards the entrance of the bungalow.

I exited the car and opened the door for Janu. As she stepped out, I assisted her by taking one of her hands.

I noticed Jaya Prakash and his relatives were also looking at Janu and me, but they didn't say anything. When I turned to look at Janu, I saw that her face was red, presumably because she was embarrassed at being seen with me by her family.

"Can you let go of my hand?" she asked in a shy tone.

I instantly said, " Sorry, I just didn't pay attention, and quickly released her hand.

I walked towards Jaya Prakash and the others and invited them to enter my bungalow. I must say, that Masood had done a good job, as he had already hired some servants to take care of Janu and her family.

So, I instructed the servants to take Jaya Prakash and his family to their rooms. Since the bungalow had many rooms, accommodating them was not difficult. Security was also tight, with a bodyguard stationed at every entrance, balcony, and even the terrace.

I looked at Janu and instructed a servant to assign her the room next to mine. Then, I walked up to her, and we exchanged contact information. After the car incident, she wasn't as shy as before.

I walked into my room and closed the door. After a long day, I took a shower and changed into a nightgown. Then, I lay down on the bed, thinking about my next move.

"I checked the time; it was 8:00 p.m. I walked out of my room and entered the living room. Masood was still there and stood up from the sofa as he saw me enter. I sat down and looked at him. 'What happened to Gana?' I asked."

Masood replied as if he had been expecting the question. 'Sir, Gana is arrested and in jail. His father, Umapathi, and his uncle, Sripathi, who is a lawyer, are trying to bail him out. However, the bail was denied because the judge was on our side and had been bribed by us.

I instructed Masood, "Okay, tomorrow I want all the news channels to air the video of Dhanush killing people. Also, make sure it's the headline in the newspapers. It's time to end Dhanush and his chief minister father. "

"Also, tell the political parties to prepare themselves to put pressure on the chief minister to resign after the video is released."

Masood replied, "It will be done, Sir."

I remembered something and asked Masood, "What happened to the donation I ordered you to give to the MLA's office?"

"Sir, the donation has been made," Masood responded. "The projects she is working on will be given the green light directly, without any inspection. I have already warned the party members and others to let Hansitha madam do as she wishes. If anyone objects, they will face severe consequences."

"Okay, Masood, you have done well in every task I have assigned you." I transferred ₹10 crore to his account and told him he could leave.

As I saw Masood leave, I began to think about the plot involving Hansitha and Veerandra's rape case. I need to appear directly at the court with the evidence and help her win the case. I suspect she may have already met with the girl's parents who filed the case, or she might meet them tomorrow.

I have a date with her tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. By then, I should know whether she has met the parents of the girl or not, and I can plan my next step accordingly.

As I was lost in thought, I noticed Janu and Jaya Prakash enter the room. I knew it was Jaya Prakash who wanted to know when I would send that evidence to the police and the media.

I informed Jaya Prakash of everything I had ordered Masood to do, including the release of Dhanush's killing video by tomorrow and the newspaper headlines about his killing. I also told him about my connections with other political parties and how they would pressure the Chief Minister to resign.

I told him everything, as he is a retired IAS officer and understands that unless we can defeat the Chief Minister and force him to resign, they will always be in danger of being targeted by the Chief Minister in the future, even if we manage to send Dhanush to jail.

After telling him these things, I noticed that both Jaya Prakash and Janu were looking at me in awe, impressed by how I was handling the situation.

After listening to my explanation, Jaya Prakash left the room. Janu remained standing there, so I took her hand and led her to the garden for a walk. We strolled side by side in silence, with our fingers interlocked, enjoying the moment. I gazed up at the moon as it shone brightly and looked at Janu beside me, her face illuminated by the moonlight.

She looked beautiful and bathed in the moonlight, and I couldn't resist any longer. I leaned in and kissed her on the lips, catching her by surprise. Her eyes widened at my sudden action.

I quickly pulled back and looked at her, then confessed my feelings. " I'm sorry, Janu. I just couldn't control myself. You look so beautiful right now, and I've liked you since the first moment I saw you at your house. "

Janu was looking at me and listening to my sudden confession she was a little bit shy and happy at the same.

I could feel the magic in the air, and I knew it was the right moment to share my feelings.

" Janu, even though we've just met, it feels like I've known you forever. Every word you say touches my heart, and your smile brings me a warmth I've never experienced before. I want to be the person who makes you smile like that, not just today but every day after. I want to be the reason for your happiness, now and always. "

I confessed all the dialogues I could remember from romance movies to her and then gently kissed her on her forehead.

I looked down at Janu, and as I embraced her gently, her head rested against my chest, grounding me in that moment. After a while, I released her from my hold, and I was taken aback by her soft voice. "I... I like you too. Especially today, when you saved my family from Obul's gang. At that moment, I knew I could trust you. And when you were doing everything you could to make me feel better in the car, I loved the feeling of being cared for and protected by you." Her words wrapped around my heart, igniting hope and warmth within me.

As she hugged me, the warmth of her gratitude enveloped us both. "Thank you for liking me," she whispered, and at that moment, my heart soared. I couldn't believe what I was hearing; her confession felt like a dream come true. It was as if I had been granted a glimpse of heaven itself.

I had always fantasized about meeting someone extraordinary, someone like her—a goddess in her own right. And now, here I was, standing before her, receiving a confession that felt like a gift from the universe. Every moment spent with her seemed to shimmer with magic, and I couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of joy and gratitude.

Overwhelmed by the rush of emotions, I said, "Janu, I love you." The words spilled out of me, unrestrained and genuine.

Without missing a beat, she replied, "I love you too, Vlad."

Her response felt like pure magic. Time seemed to freeze as I wrapped my arms around her tightly, wanting to hold onto this moment forever. I breathed in her scent, hoping to engrave every detail into my memory. This was the first time I had hugged and kissed someone, an experience that felt monumental and surreal.

I decided to make her mine tonight.
