[ still becoming a Herrscher is no small feat, you should be happy ]
Caelus just sighed. "So we're there other user of this system"
[ Yes but non of them passed ]
Caelus then spoke. "Ok how"
[ Well each of them meet there fates, in either conidic, tragic or insane ways, Host 43 pissed of a vampire Tsundere and she accidently killed him, Host 33 was brave heir who was betrayed, Host 67 was reborn in her favourite visuals Novel as a Villainess she was killed by her Ex she allowed her self to die, Host 11 was just stupid, who gave him the idea to have so many Yandere, he sacrificed him self to save the world, in other words my Host were all different levels off Idiots ]
Caelus shook his head, half-amused, half-bewildered. "So you're saying I'm just another potential 'idiot' in a long line of them?"
[ Correction: they were absolute idiots. You at least seem to have a bit more common sense—so far. Though Host 11… well, he thought he could handle a harem of yanderes, so his fate was sealed the moment he said 'I love you' to all of them. ]
Caelus chuckled, "And the one who managed to tick off a vampire tsundere? I have to know... what exactly happened there?"
[ He thought teasing her was a good idea. She was blushing and ready to slap him, but her strength… let's say he didn't dodge fast enough. ]
Caelus stifled a laugh. "And yet you keep picking hosts."
[ Correction: I don't pick hosts. I simply… end up with them. Though, if I could pick, I'd go for someone with an ounce more self-preservation. ]
Caelus smirked, feeling a strange sense of camaraderie with the mysterious system. "Well, don't worry. I plan on staying alive. No vampires, no harems of yanderes. Just me, some powers, and—hopefully—some better luck."
[ let's hope so host, this powers needs to passed that was the last command of Creator the previous holder of the Herrscher of Star ]
Caelus raised an eyebrow. "The creator was the last Herrscher of Star? And they commanded you to pass on their powers?"
[ Correct. The Creator held the title of Herrscher of Star, wielding powers far beyond the ordinary. They wanted their abilities to survive, but only in the hands of a worthy successor. Each of my previous hosts failed… though they did leave behind valuable insights on what not to do. ]
Caelus nodded thoughtfully. "So, I'm here because you think I could be the successor they were looking for?"
[ I don't 'think' you're the one, Host. I was programmed to guide you until you prove yourself or—like the others—meet a tragic end. The choice lies in how you face what's ahead. ]
A shiver ran down Caelus's spine, but he steeled himself. "Then I guess I better not let the Creator—or you—down. Let's get started."
Caelus then sigehd. "Alright let me wake up"
As Caelus mind soul left the void, as it was back to his body, as he heard two people voice.
"Do you think he needs mouth too mouth Dan Heng"
"He seemed to not wake up, so do it Marcg"
"Hey, you know how first kiss are for girls, then again he is very handsome, Fair skin, Silver hair and even has style, why not"
As then Caelus opmed his eyes, as he saw March has kissed will she was trying to will give him mouth to mouth, as he pushed her away, as they looked at eachother blushing
Dan Heng looked at Caelus. "Good your awake, are you hurt by any chance"
Caelus got up and looked at Dan Heng. "No I am ok... I am Caelus"
March looked at him. "You must one of the people who work in this space station for Astra"
Caelus looked at them. "Astra?".
March just looked at him and spoke. "Jesse he must be new"
Dan Heng looked at them. "Let's keep moving before we are attacked"
As the two of them ran, telling Caelus to follow them, Caelus then grabbee a near by bat, and srugged he then for reson felt power, then he saw the System only he can see again
[ First mission has been given: Depend Herta Space station, Reword will be given after the mission]
Caelus took a deep breath, steadying himself. A mission already? He glanced at the bat in his hand, feeling an unusual energy flowing through it. The System's message lingered in his mind: Defend Herta Space Station. He looked up to see March and Dan Heng waiting, and he jogged to catch up.
"So… you two know your way around this place, right?" Caelus asked as they navigated the winding corridors.
March nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah, we're here to help defend against any hostile forces. Astra's been a bit on edge lately."
Dan Heng glanced back at him. "Stay close. Herta Space Station has been under threat, so be prepared to fight."
Just as they turned a corner, a group of hostile robotic drones appeared, blocking their path. Caelus tightened his grip on the bat, feeling the surge of energy intensify. The System flashed in his vision again.
[ Tutorial Mode Activated: Power-Up Sequence. Host has been granted a temporary increase in physical abilities to adapt to combat. Utilize enhanced strength and reflexes to defeat opponents. ]
Without missing a beat, Caelus swung the bat, sending one of the drones crashing into a wall with a single strike. March and Dan Heng looked at him, impressed.
"Not bad for a rookie!" March grinned, charging at another drone with her bow ready.
Dan Heng nodded approvingly. "Seems like you'll hold your own here. Let's keep going—there are more hostiles ahead."
Caelus smirked. "Lead the way. I'm just getting started."
As then with combined strike then took down that enemy, a they started to moved again
As they pressed forward, the atmosphere grew tense. The familiar hum of machinery echoed around them, punctuated by distant mechanical whirs and clangs. Caelus felt a rush of adrenaline; this was unlike anything he had experienced before. He had just awakened with new powers, and now he was about to face real threats.
"Watch out!" Dan Heng shouted, pointing ahead.
A hulking mechanical beast, the Riftwalker, emerged from the shadows, its red eyes glowing ominously. It was a massive creature, part machinery and part alien, known for its devastating attacks. March readied her bow, eyes narrowed in focus.
"Caelus, stick close! I'll distract it while you and Dan Heng flank from the sides," March instructed.
"Got it!" Caelus replied, adrenaline coursing through his veins.
March unleashed a barrage of arrows at the Riftwalker, each one striking its armored exterior with precision. The creature roared in anger, turning its massive frame toward her, but that gave Caelus and Dan Heng the opening they needed.
"Now!" Dan Heng commanded, sprinting toward the beast's flank. Caelus followed closely, brandishing the bat. He could feel the power from the System surging within him, enhancing his speed and strength.
As they approached, Caelus swung the bat at the Riftwalker's leg, the impact reverberating through his arms. The creature staggered but quickly retaliated, swinging its arm down to crush them. Dan Heng reacted instantly, using his agility to roll out of the way.
"Keep it distracted!" Dan Heng shouted, lunging at the creature's exposed joints with a series of swift strikes.
Caelus followed suit, aiming for the same weak points. Together, they combined their attacks, striking the Riftwalker relentlessly. Each blow felt exhilarating; the bat felt like an extension of his will, and he could sense the System cheering him on.
"Finish it!" March yelled, launching one final arrow infused with her energy. It struck the Riftwalker right between its eyes, causing a massive explosion of light and shrapnel.
The beast let out a final roar before collapsing, its mechanical form sparking and twitching before going still.
"Nice teamwork!" March said, panting slightly as she wiped her brow. "You did great, Caelus."
Caelus grinned, still buzzing from the battle. "Thanks! That was incredible. What's next?"
Dan Heng surveyed the area. "We need to push forward. Herta's central control room is up ahead, and we can't let more of those machines get past us."
As they moved deeper into the station, the tension heightened. They encountered more drones and other enemies, like the Hollow Pursuers, which were fast-moving, shadowy figures that could phase through walls and ambush them. Each encounter tested Caelus's abilities, forcing him to adapt and grow stronger.
After defeating a group of Hollow Pursuers, Caelus felt a sense of determination wash over him. "I can't believe I'm actually fighting like this. I feel… powerful."
March nodded. "That's the spirit! Just remember, it's about more than just strength. Strategy and teamwork will get us through."
Dan Heng agreed. "Follow my lead, and we'll manage."
As they approached the central control room, alarms blared, and a chilling voice echoed through the halls.
"Intruders detected. Preparing to engage. Elimination protocol initiated."
Caelus's heart raced. "What now?"
Dan Heng took a deep breath. "We're about to face the Fell Guardians, the station's advanced defense units. Stay sharp and watch each other's backs!"
With that, they burst into the control room, ready to confront whatever awaited them. The shadows shifted, revealing the imposing forms of the Fell Guardians, each one armed with devastating weaponry and a relentless determination to protect Herta's domain.
"Let's show them what we're made of!" Caelus shouted, raising his bat, feeling the power surging within him. The battle was about to reach its peak.
As the Fell Guardians activated, their metallic bodies gleamed ominously under the harsh lights of the control room. Each unit towered over Caelus, armed with energy weapons and equipped with defensive shields that flickered menacingly. The air crackled with tension, and Caelus could feel the weight of the moment pressing down on him.
"Remember, aim for their weak points!" Dan Heng shouted, motioning for Caelus and March to spread out. "March, focus on creating distractions with your arrows while Caelus and I flank them!"
"Got it!" March replied, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she notched an arrow and prepared to fire.
With a swift motion, she released the arrow, which exploded on impact, showering the nearest Fell Guardian with blinding sparks. The Guardian stumbled back, momentarily disoriented. Seizing the opportunity, Caelus and Dan Heng dashed forward, their movements synchronized as they targeted the Guardian's exposed circuitry.
Caelus swung his bat, the enhanced strength coursing through him amplifying the impact. The bat connected with the Guardian's knee joint, sending it crashing to the ground. "One down!" he shouted, exhilaration flooding his veins.
But there was no time to celebrate. The remaining Fell Guardians quickly turned their attention to the intruders, their glowing eyes locking onto Caelus and Dan Heng. One Guardian raised its weapon, charging a deadly blast.
"Move!" Dan Heng shouted, pulling Caelus to the side just as the blast erupted, scorching the ground where they had just been standing.
March was already firing arrows in rapid succession, aiming for the Guardians' weak points. "Keep them off balance!" she yelled, her voice steady despite the chaos.
"On it!" Caelus called out, running toward the nearest Guardian that was still recovering from March's earlier attack. He climbed onto its back, looking for a way to disable it. With his bat, he targeted the exposed circuitry on the back of its neck.
"Come on, come on!" Caelus urged himself, feeling the System within him urging him to focus. With a powerful strike, he hit the circuitry, causing the Guardian to convulse and collapse.
"Nice job!" Dan Heng praised, taking out another Guardian with a swift kick to its power core, causing a chain reaction that sent sparks flying.
But just as they began to gain momentum, a larger, more imposing figure emerged from the shadows. This was Guardian Omega, the elite version of the standard units, equipped with advanced weaponry and a shield that shimmered with a protective barrier.
"Stay back!" March shouted, her voice rising in alarm as Omega stepped forward, its weapon charged and ready to fire.
"Focus on dodging its attacks!" Dan Heng instructed, taking a defensive stance. "We need to find a way to break through its defenses!"
As Omega unleashed a volley of energy blasts, Caelus ducked and rolled, narrowly avoiding the deadly shots. The blasts left charred marks on the floor, a stark reminder of how dangerous this battle was.
"Let me try something!" Caelus shouted, tapping into the System's power. He focused, feeling the energy within him surge as he activated a skill he hadn't fully explored yet.
[Activating: Burst Strike]
In an instant, Caelus felt his speed and power amplify, a surge of energy flooding his senses. He charged at Guardian Omega, moving faster than he thought possible.
"Caelus, be careful!" March called, but he was already committed.
With a swift upward swing, he struck at the Guardian's weapon, the impact creating a shockwave that staggered Omega. The guardian reeled back, its weapon momentarily disrupted.
"Now!" Dan Heng shouted, seizing the moment. He leaped into the air, delivering a powerful kick to Omega's head, causing it to stumble.
"Together!" Caelus yelled, and they attacked in unison. March launched her arrows while Caelus swung his bat with all his might. Dan Heng struck with precision, targeting the Guardian's weakened points.
With a final, coordinated effort, they overwhelmed Guardian Omega, the unit collapsing with a resounding crash. Caelus panted heavily, adrenaline still surging through him as the smoke cleared.
"We did it!" March exclaimed, her face lit up with excitement. "I can't believe we took down an Omega!"
Dan Heng nodded, though his expression remained serious. "This was only the beginning. We need to get to the control room and secure it before more enemies arrive."
As they approached the control panel, Caelus felt a strange energy emanating from it. "What's this?" he murmured, examining the intricate design of the control panel.
"Looks like the control system for the station," Dan Heng replied, inspecting the various screens displaying data and maps of the facility. "We can use this to find out more about the Honkai threats and how to stop them."
Caelus pressed a button, and the screens flickered to life, showing a series of holographic images depicting various Honkai creatures and their locations. "We have to warn Herta and the rest of the crew!" he urged.
Before they could gather more information, the alarms blared again, a harsh red light filling the room. "More enemies are coming!" March shouted, her expression turning serious.
"Let's move!" Dan Heng commanded, and they quickly strategized their next steps. "Caelus, can you use your powers to help us hold off the next wave?"
"Absolutely!" Caelus replied, feeling the confidence swell within him. "I'll do whatever it takes to protect this station!"
With that, they braced themselves for the incoming assault, ready to face whatever the Honkai would throw at them next. Caelus's heart raced; he had found allies, purpose, and the thrill of battle. He was determined to harness his new powers and become the hero he always wanted to be.
