Klingons. I have come to realize I don't like Klingons.
No, its not a specicist thing, I couldn't give a fuck. What I don't like is the way they act. Half civilized warp age barbarians using honor as a excuse to beat the shit out of each other.
Voyager ran into a old Klingon sect who now think B'Elanna's unborn child are their Kuvah'magh, the klingon messiah. So their brilliant interpretation of their sacred scrolls was to blow their ship up to 'throw of the old ways'.
So now there are 204 klingons wandering around on Voyager. The computer keep track of them and keep them out of restricted areas, calling security if they do something like entering the Jefferies tubes. They only have access to things like their assigned quarters and the messhall.
More than I wanted but Janeway did have a point that we couldn't keep them locked in the shuttlebay until we find somewhere to drop them of. At the very least the computer know where each and every one of them are at all times.
So now they are wandering around, getting in the way. Like now.
"Sir, would you please step out of the way? I need to access the panel behind you for some routine maintenance." I ask the Klingon in front of me that's standing there, leaning against the wall. He ignore me.
"Sir, please move." and I touch his shoulder, causing him so sneer at me
"Take your hand of me, half mechanical freak. Only a honorless p'tahk weakling would seek mechanical assistance."
I simply look up at him "So may it be, sir, but you are blocking the hatch I need to access to maintain the plasma manifold behind it. I'm going to need you to move."
Growling at me he turn to me before taking a swing at me. I catch hit fist with my right hand and give it a twist while stepping forward, giving his knee a kick from the side causing him to collapse, holding his broken wrist.
Sighing I tap my com badge "Hiver to security."
"Security here."
I look down at him "I have a klingon that tried to take a swing at me here, he need medical attention and perhaps a holding cell." before he struggle up to lunge at me.
Stepping to the side I hit him straight in the forehead with my right hand causing him to collapse.
"Make that medical attention. Not sure he will need a holding cell at this time."
A few days later we managed to locate a suitable planet for them while B'Elanna, the Captain and one of the Klingon leaders interpreted the scrolls to make sure things said what they wanted it to say. That the klingons where lead to their new world by the messiah.
It almost worked but a faction tried to take over the ship. The fact that the transporters are now always locked down behind a encrypted password when not in use causes their little rebellion to be a short one.
The Doctor even managed to cure the virus infecting them, causing them to drop dead seemingly on random using genetic material from B'Elannas kid, cementing his place as their savior in their minds.
If I remember the episode right at the very least Harry was spared the attention of the klingon female this time. She saw me beat up the other klingon and as such followed me around until I managed to divert her onto Neelix...who was most appreciative.
Klingons!
