Eli, Aethon, and Arianna ventured into the Realm of Shadows.
Their mission: to unite the realms against Xaren.
Within the shadows, they encountered the enigmatic Ruler of Shadows.
"I will not ally with mortals," the Ruler declared.
Eli presented the Amulet's wisdom. "Together, we can defeat Xaren."
The Ruler's gaze narrowed. "I'll consider your proposal."
Suddenly, Niamh appeared.
"Ruler, do not trust them," Niamh warned.
The Ruler's expression turned cold. "Niamh, your loyalty is divided."
Niamh's eyes flashed. "My loyalty belongs to Xaren."
Eli stepped forward. "Niamh, remember our friendship."
Niamh's gaze faltered.
For an instant, her true self shone.
Then, Xaren's control reasserted.
"Kill them," Niamh commanded.
The Ruler intervened. "Not in my realm."
The Ruler's shadows bound Niamh.
"Decide, Niamh," Eli urged. "Friendship or darkness?"
Niamh's expression twisted.
"I...I don't know."
