Chapter 26 - Chapter 26 The Wisdom of the Mentor

As Thomas's mastery of summoning magic grew deeper, he began to realize that true power came not only from magic itself but also from understanding the wisdom behind magic. He decided to seek deeper guidance from Ms. Alison, hoping to gain more knowledge and wisdom from her.

One early morning, Thomas knocked on the door of Ms. Alison's office. She was sitting at her desk, studying an ancient magic tome. Seeing Thomas, she smiled and motioned for him to come in.

"Thomas, what can I do for you?" Ms. Alison put down the book in her hand and looked at him softly.

Thomas took a deep breath and then said, "Ms. Alison, I want to understand the essence of magic more deeply. I want to know how to become a true master of magic."

There was a glint of approval in Ms. Alison's eyes. "This is a very good aspiration, Thomas. But to reach that realm, you need not only skills but more importantly a profound understanding of magic and insights into life."

Thomas nodded seriously. "I understand. I am willing to learn."

In the following days, Ms. Alison began to impart to Thomas the magic knowledge and life wisdom she had accumulated over the years. She took him to visit the academy's secret magic library, where many precious magic tomes and historical documents were collected. She also took him to the academy's garden and taught him how to draw magic inspiration from nature.

"Magic and life are inseparable, Thomas." Ms. Alison said as she walked in the garden. "Every life, every leaf, contains the power of magic. You need to feel them with your heart."

Thomas followed behind her, and his gaze lingered on every flower and every leaf in the garden. He began to try to feel their life force and understand the connection between them and magic.

As time passed, Thomas's magic skills and understanding of magic both improved significantly. He began to be able to cast magic more freely, and his magic became stronger and more precise.

However, as his power grew, new concerns arose in Thomas's heart. He began to think about how to use this power correctly and how to ensure that it would not be misused.

In a late-night conversation, Thomas expressed his concerns to Jack. "Jack, do you think we can really use this power correctly? I am worried that if we can't control it, it may bring disaster to us."

Jack looked at him, with firmness in his eyes. "Thomas, I believe in you. You can always make the right decision at critical moments. Moreover, you are not alone. We will all help you."

A warm current surged in Thomas's heart. He knew that Jack's words were sincere. He took a deep breath and tried to dispel the concerns in his heart.

In the following days, Thomas began to pay more attention to inner cultivation. He began to learn meditation and telepathy skills, trying to enhance his willpower and self-control ability through these methods.

He also began to participate in various social activities in the academy, trying to help others and improve the community through practical actions. He found that these experiences not only made him understand the power of magic more deeply but also made him understand more clearly the responsibility and mission of being a magician.

In a charity event at the academy, Thomas and Jack together helped rebuild a village destroyed by a storm. They used their magic to repair houses for the villagers and brought them food and warmth.

"Thomas, you are really great." A villager said gratefully to him. "You not only have powerful magic but also a kind heart."

Thomas smiled. His heart was filled with satisfaction and pride. He knew that he was becoming a true magician, a magician who not only had power but also had wisdom and love.
