Dia and Megan exchanged confused glances behind Amira as they had just struggled to keep up with Cole's movement and defense, but she seemed unfazed.
Cole let out a dry laugh. "Then you're making a mistake because you won't stand a chance alone."
With an eerie calm, Amira's eyes shone. "You think I don't know how you were able to handle both of them?"
Cole's smirk froze as his eyes flickered with uncertainty. Dia and Megan stiffened as well, their confusion deepening.
Amira kept walking forward, slowly closing the distance. "I know you've been layering spiritual energy over your body like a protective shell and I'll admit, it's impressive. But using it as a constant shield now that's reckless and you know it drains you too quickly so your plan were to take us down fast, lock the door, and wait for your gang to show up, right?"
