Chapter 3 Intermediate

Summary of Chapter 3:

Chapter 3 features a titanic battle between a dragon and a mysterious alien. The dragon, a creature from a higher dimension, demonstrates unimaginable power by breathing hydrogen and helium, comparable to a solar storm. The alien, observing this, decides to toy with the situation and uses a "black plasma" technique to destroy the city of Webenne in a cataclysmic explosion. The capital is reduced to ashes, and the heroes are unable to react. The dragon, despite its rage, feels deep terror towards the alien.

The alien, a commander named Keryt, mocks the dragon's power and decides to challenge it with devastating attacks. A fight ensues, and Keryt, using his regeneration, quickly gains the upper hand. However, Titan, a creator god, arrives at great speed to intervene, halting the imminent attack. The duel between Titan and Keryt continues, with titanic exchanges of energy, but Keryt temporarily gains an advantage.

Meanwhile, Atachi, meditating, observes the fight from a distance. When he realizes Titan is about to succumb, he intervenes with incredible power, annihilating all energy spheres threatening Terra. Atachi heals Titan and faces Keryt, demonstrating complete mastery of the situation. After an impressive exchange of blows, Atachi crushes the alien effortlessly, using his powers to erase any threat.

After saving the world, Atachi gazes at the sky with weariness. A dimensional rift suddenly appears, tearing space apart and releasing a disturbing energy. As he prepares to face this new threat, he realizes that an even greater and more dangerous force is looming on the horizon.

(Note: Remember that the dragon is not dead but fled, so it is currently in the wild, though this will not be important for now in the following chapters.)

Concepts to Establish:

Techniques Used by Characters and Their Functions:

Superior Dragon (baby):

Gravity of Falling Existence: A concentrated gravitational sphere crushes its target under gravity ranging from dozens to hundreds of G, disintegrating the surrounding matter. The number of G in the attack increases by 10G per second. Powerful and destructive, it can almost instantly kill its opponent.

Energy Used: Gravity and Void magic.

Keryt:

Black Plasma: A hyper-concentrated jet of magnetic plasma burning at extreme temperatures, destroying both organic and inorganic matter.

Energy Used: Thermal, magnetic, and ethereal.

Quasar Nova: A cosmic explosion mimicking a supernova, releasing a wave of stellar energy capable of vaporizing an entire solar system. A devastating light-based attack on a very large scale.

Energy Used: Cosmic and gamma radiation.

True Chaos of Antimatter: Total annihilation by contact with antimatter, disintegrating any matter touched instantly. The attack takes the form of a wildly unstable spiral, extremely destructive, extending across several solar systems.

Energy Used: Pure antimatter.

White Hole Directional: A dimensional vortex akin to the hypothetical white hole (the inverse of a black hole) projects vast amounts of energy in the form of radiation (like gamma or X-rays) in a targeted direction.

Energy Used: Antimatter/black energy/black hole energy.

Atachi:

Yakudé: Creates amplifying portals for force and shock waves. As his fist passes through, the force and speed of the punch progressively increase with each portal traversed. He has decided to use up to a hundred portals at most. These portals can accumulate because they are thin rips in space. The more portals there are, the more dangerous the attack becomes.

Energy Used: Space manipulation and amplification.

Titan:

The Holy Celestial Strike: A divine strike invokes a sacred light to purify or annihilate. Particularly effective against evil forces, it inflicts massive damage on a local or regional scale.

Energy Used: Sacred or divine.

Dimensional Rifts: A dimensional rift is the result of an inconceivable concentration of energy released at a given location, causing the veil of reality to rupture, leading to a link to a divine trial that Terranians must face. If a rift is not completed within the week of its opening, an overwhelming wave of Rank S monsters will descend upon Terra.

Thus, the accumulation of Terra's heroes facing giants and dragons, the arrival of the superior dragon, the alien ship of Keryt, the battle between Keryt and the dragon, Keryt vs Titan, and Atachi vs Keryt and Titan (end of the chapter) caused an energy overload that triggered a rift. Atachi decided to handle it as he had free time.

Keryt's Goal: Although Keryt hasn't had a full chapter, his role is crucial for the upcoming events on an intergalactic and cosmic scale. To recall, Keryt is a commander of Barbatéos, who, upon hearing the news, will not remain idle.
