*Genevieve*
I still had to talk to Lucien about the deal, and what had to be done. I did not know what was going on in his head and why we have to go to New York next week. It made me perplexed to be honest.
I had also called and texted my brother to ask what they had talked about, and the asshole had the guts to say, "Man stuff."
It annoyed me because I knew I was the topic of discussion so, I see no reason why I should not have been involved when I was the main topic of the discussion, if not the whole plot. I did not even bother asking Lucien because I knew he would not tell me. We never really talked asides updates or things about the kids. It was like an unspoken rule amongst us that our only and main reason for communication will be our children, or nothing else. It burdened me, but at the same time, it made things easier.
